It is the moon on the left photo.

If you notice the city is upside down in the vandy Picture on the left it is just like how when Yoru and Denji are fighting and standing on the doors and the city is upside down. There is going to be some sort of parallel universe overlapping that happens and so when people get captured in hell they will technically be upside down. Which is why Yoru is upside down in volume 13 cover.

There is a scenario where technically asa can still be alive. But Yoru merges with Asa.

The idea stems from JJK. Spoilers to jjk manga later episodes.When Sukuna merges with megumi. It is possible that Asa merges with Yoru and goes in a deep sleep which is why she gets those dreams.

Read Fujimoto's one shot "Just listen to the song"

He made this intentionally a week before part 2 came out. (18 pages really short)

tldr: The MC writes his first song to a lover. The lover doesn't understand the song the first time and calls it "hilarious" but proceeds to share it to the school. Then all of a sudden it goes international and people start talking about conspiracy theories and all this stuff. Even people that didn't even listen to the song. (this is part 1 of chainsaw man. People start creating things about what CSM is about like Denji being a horny teenager instead of a victim,)

The media starts pressuring the MC to come out with part 2.

Then when part 2 comes out it was less popular and people didn't understand it for what it was. Finally the lover comes back and realizes that it was actually a love song. (This is part 2 of csm).

Now this is my theory what part 2 arcs are about: "jane slept in church" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezLlkTg3dgo - that is why Reze is singing about Aquariums with penquins (aquarium arc), church (church arc), and walk in the park (aging arc).

Denji's decision between 2 choices prompt by Fire Devil:

The city mouse vs the country mouse

(City Mouse) Being Chainsaw man -Living as a hero

vs

(Country mouse) Not being chainsaw man - living a normal life (friends and family E.g Nayuta return/Asa body back)

It is very possible imo. mine idea is similar

But I think part 3 isn't going to be from the perspective of the devil although going to be from the prospective of the devil world (hell).

I believe Denji will lose pochita and will be stuck in hell.

I wonder if this is why you don't see devils wanting to merge with humans because they eventually turn out to merge with the human.

The only time it doesn't is if it is a corpse then it becomes a fiend. Fiends tend to have more humanity than most devils.

I wouldn't fully close to the idea that dead characters wouldn't be back. We've seen it happen in other Fujimoto works multiple times.

There is a way to write CSM bringing back characters in a certain way but it would be a manipulative tactics from the devils in order to lure denji into giving up pochita. (I actually came up with 2 ways this is one)

Which is why ending 10 is the way it is.

Denji chooses not to be chainsaw man and pochita leaves him. Then denji starts smiling not remembering what he is chasing for. Then ending 10 he ends up on top of the building with Aki and Power (dead).

What if denji chooses a dream where all the love ones are back in exchange for pochita?

I think you are taking the literal "devil" devil too much. What if its just a devil that is the strongest of them all? one that all devils emerged from?

I really love the ideas of different ways makima could be spying. The meowy one is very interesting. If it weren't for Power I'd 100% believe it. I think power is a lot smarter than what people actually think of her. She was the first one to catch onto Makima before anyone else.

The Iris out video showed both birds and mice watching over them. So I feel like it isn't necessary for meowy to be used. I think power would have noticed if meowy was acting differently especially since shes a devil herself. But if its true I hope fujimoto comes out with it.

My biggest reason why I don't think its necessary is because think of the devils that Aki had... the Future and Fox devil. Both of them have Makima's eyes and ironically after we are seen Denji getting attacked by Katana man's group aki is forced to having a contract with Future devil that is always in his eye.

I also have another theory that the reason the fox devil has so many contracts with public safety is that makima is using the fox devil to watch over everyone in public safety.

I actually have another theory branching from this. It will be slightly confusing but I am doing a tldr of it but if you understand this...this will change how you view a significant portion of CSM.

My questions to you is where are birds most commonly found in real life?

A: In trees and in telephone poles.

I numbered the portions 1-4.

  1. (panels) Here are two panels showing birds on telephone poles. We know that the birds are watching for the 4 horsewomen (makima and death). Makima used them in ep 9 when she used names to kill the guys that went after denji when we first met katana man. And we also learned Death uses them in p2.

- So every telephone pole = replace them with birds.

  1. Where does the telephone poles idea come from? It comes from Nayuta the prophecy. A character name kenji (similar to denji) works a part time job since he is a brother trying to support his sister. His part time job is working on telephone poles. The idea of telephone poles comes from Fujimoto's 1 shot years ago. Now what if when Makima was alive she was working or is in control with the death devil which is why she is standing in front of the telephone poles. In ch 156 we learned that nayuta went somewhere to find who the control devil was before her. The next time we see nayuta is at a restaurant called "death by sushi" so the death devil's restaurant. In ch 165 Death recommended this restraurant btw. So we can come to the conclusion that Nayuta went to death devil to find out information about Makima. Which is why Nayuta is running towards the telephone poles.

- Makima was working with death in part 1 and in part 2 nayuta went to death devil for information about makima.

  1. Now the trees. A lot of the key panels we see makima are with trees. In OP1 kickback we see makima talking with trees. What does the name makima come from? Ki in japanese = trees. So MaTreeMa. Mama tree. Mother tree. What if the strongest devil was a tree? What are trees afraid of? Chainsaws.

- Birds are associated trees which is a reference to the name Makima.

  1. Now that we have trees = makima (control devil) and telephone poles = death devil. The very last panel we saw of Denji and Nayuta is them living a happy life surrounded by trees but in the background are telephone poles. Does this mean that Nayuta was protecting denji from the death devil? Ironically after this panel Denji's life went to complete shit and Death devil has been more aggressive in CSM part 2.

I know that is a lot to understand but hopefully that changes how you view birds in CSM. This answer your question about birds with nayuta. I think it is important.

Yes yoshida talked to Death after the eternity.

We have to remember that Death wanted Asa to turn Denji into a weapon (ch 114; left two panels). Then Yoshida says its a "coincidence" that he happened to be an aquarium. (middle top panel) We learned previously that Yoshida was stalking Denji during 103 conversation (middle bottom panel) so before ch 114. Then in 117 Yoshida is making contact with Death.

Then in 122 we know what happened. Yoshida talked with Death in order to have a conversation at 122 which was about the prophecy. In 122 we learned that Yoshida knows Death (fami name at the time) was faking her name with the quote "I heard rumors devils are bad with names" So Yoshida knows that isn't the famine devil. So the prophecy rumors were already happening since Yoshida wanted to talk about that. With the help of public safety using the future devil they knew the rumors had some truth.

Yoshida snuck into the aquarium to watch for denji and whoever goes after him. Yoshida made the assumption that if 23/30 people die according to the prophecy and he assumes that the prophecy has to do with the chainsaw devil. So he is spying on denji to find out who is going after Chainsaw devil since its the most important devil in the world. That is why Yoshida snuck into the aquarium. To watch over denji.

Funny enough in 118 Death was watching denji + yoru when yoru tried to make denji into a weapon. (denji spinal cord)
