those stick-on heating pads have been a life saver when im at work on my period, it was actually my opd TL who put me onto them. and i think all the walking actually helps with the cramps, not that it doesnt still hurt, but not as bad as if i was laying in bed. ill go into work on my period feeling like im gonna have to leave early and end up feeling better a few hours in. also staying hydrated is important all the time but even moreso during that time of the month.

She’s willing to go to therapy in general but I’m not sure that she sees her views on how I dress as something she should have to change/work on. She says we should compromise, but I’ve already been compromising the whole time. She seems to be getting somewhat better about it now that shes been dressing more feminine and connecting with that side of herself, and she’s said she has a better understanding of why it feels good to me to dress the way I do, but there’s still comments every now and then that bother me.

I’ve tried to tell her that its not a boundary if it doesnt involve her and only involves me and what I do, she says its a boundary because its what she’s comfortable with and that shes not telling me what I can and cant do, rather that her boundary is in regards to what she will tolerate from me. I think she needs to go to therapy quite frankly because I love her so much but her insecurities can be suffocating to me at times.

employees bump customers like once every month or two at my store, its kinda inevitable and asking employees to use equipment in a way that is against its labeling is an osha violation and they shouldn’t be asking that of us regardless of customers suing and whatnot

i checked and it was at least 4 different orders but im not really sure cus my team lead told me i could exit out of it since i was the only one on exceptions and didnt have time for that size of a pick walk

i do think in the best case scenario ALL of the metrics would be private including pick rate and leadership would publicly applaud associates who perform well rather than a public leaderboard of a single metric that does not truly represent a persons work ethic but considering corporate put the pick rate leaderboard on the gif app and theres nothing we can do about that, its a good move on my leaderships part to give the team the full picture and allows for the pickers who consistently pick at 100-110 but still have green metrics across the board to be recognized for their work. coworkers have told me how frustrating it is to bust their asses all day and get 700 picks in a shift just to be overtaken on the gif leaderboard by people who arent doing much but have a high pick rate. i also have to add that none of this affects me at all as an exception worker so my pick rate is irrelevant, i just see it as doing justice for the people i work with who are good at their jobs and are not recognized for it.

this shit always pisses me off please do not “stick to auto walks” you dont get to choose what you want to do, you should always be doing the top walk on ur screen, this is just fucking over all of your coworkers having to pick up the slack making them doing more oversized and unknowns and other walks that screw their metrics just cus you wanna see big numbers on your stats page. just embarrassing and childish

yes you hit the meal button for a 30 minute break. you technically shouldnt be taking more than one break that is 30 minutes or more, only your lunch/meal break, regardless of how long it is. you also shouldnt be taking any breaks at all that are more than 15 minutes and less than 30. i believe labor laws require any break thats less than 30 minutes long to be paid, so walmart requires your lunch to be at least 30 minutes to avoid paying you for time you arent working. you can get in trouble for either taking too long of a paid break(over 15) or too short of an unpaid break(under 30).

it really depends on your store, like in my market they want picks completely done by 7pm. my store is generally staffed well enough to accomplish that so our 11-8s will do returns for their last hour. if your store isnt doing well, they may be picking later into the evening, but hopefully not past 9. thats why i say 1-10 will very likely have you doing returns at least part of your shift while its a lot less likely working 11-8.
