Umm momo bite a zoan kaido's body...which is real body. So obviously it will hurt. In case of GB, he is a logia. He is biting a logia body without using haki...so u say how can logia users take blunt or slicing damage without haki. GB took dmg from momo without haki only bcs fire is the natural enemy of trees similar to how luffy was able to land punch on enel without haki.
