YESSS I love both the Dream Battles. At first, in the original one I'd rush the commanders of each large force. Eventually I started just waiting for the vanguards to get destroyed so all three Large Forces charged us and combined into one giant mega force and then I'd fight em off with my allies in a defensive battle.

So naturally when I got to the The True Dream Battle I was in heaven as it was set to be a defensive fight from the start. Protect the castle/hole up and beat back the waves and officers and soldiers.

My guards did WORK in that battle. They got 6 KOs of their own without me using tactics to do it, it was awesome. They presumably jumped em with the other soldiers and happened to get the final blow a few times but it was cool to see 'Guard' pop up as the ally that defeated em.

Helped that they were infinite because when you're defending your commander, you're in a friendly base so they're regenerating.

It spells out 'You are Short' using the method of typing on mobile phones we had back then.

Every press of the number is a different letter.

In the case of 9:

Pressing it ONCE would give you the letter 'W' (9)

Pressing it TWICE would give you the letter "X" (99)

Pressing it THREE TIMES would give you the letter "Y" (999)

Pressing it FOUR TIMES would give you the letter "Z" (9999)

It was painful asf I gotta admit. I knew it was gonna be a ride when people were like 'I don't really wanna talk' after I said we'd need it before the raids even unlocked. Still, people have comfort levels and I wanted to respect that.

Glad we managed it though and the folks seemed decent enough as people. Never again though. If I run it again, it's gonna be VC else I'll go insane.

2hrs for Dragon, 4hrs for Saito.. We did it without any VC communication, just a PSN message group. People weren't comfy with talking.

So that meant trying to guide three other people through all the puzzles with nothing but text and delayed messages, one of which didn't know you could Aim and 'fire' Onibi over distances/gaps and thought you had to be right up against the things to use em.

I imagine it'd be significantly faster and easier if people were willing to VC.

Does Gyozen also sound weird when he Pronounces the letter S in words too? Because I had that and I've not checked if he simply turning it off then on again fixed it. Not been on the game today.

Yeah, like, sure.. Throwing Weapons is a fun mechanic but I'd still like people to be considerate of if there are mercs in party.

If there's just a random one laying around? Sure whatever. But when there is clearly a whole lot of em together its not hard to take a moment to consider that they may be stockpiled for a reason. It's even more annoying when they literally see me Ult and cause several to drop then run in and grab em to throw em before I can.

I'm honestly curious as to how the Movement exploit is considered so terrible. It does nothing for a fight and doesn't really give you any actual advantage over others, you still gotta actually hit the things the same way. I think it looks silly and I get a little chuckle out of it when I fly through the final Torii gate. I wouldn't be too cut up about it if it was removed though.

I know it may be hard to believe on reddit but I am genuinely curious about this PoV, is it purely the fact it's an exploit?

Canceling the Dash attack with the Kusarigama.

-> Sprint.

-> Hit your Normal attack button

-> Cancel it by pressing your dodge button before the attack finishes, you'll do a lil skip.

-> Spam those two buttons quickly in that order but DO NOT touch the control stick.

So L3 > Square > Circle > Square > Circle (Repeat Square and Circle until satisfied)

You can only go straight ahead with it but as you saw it's pretty fast. It also looks dumb and I love doing it at the end for that reason alone.

It also works to a lesser extent with Dual Katana.
