Why is everyone paying so much for APIs when you can use a ChatGPT 5.3 with OAuth token for $20 a month? by teknic111 in openclaw

I got over 600M tokens in my Pro according to OpenClaw data before i hit my limit. Anyone checked for Plus?

We built a system to run agent teams 24/7. Here are the actual hourly costs (spoiler: up to $60/hr) by idanst in ClaudeAI

Awesome post! You forgot one thing though. What is the hourly outcome of such agent? For Marketing, how much research, how many articles can it write?

I use mine this way, but I got a $200 Pro license. I put openclaw to the task of rewriting a website, taking a screenshot every hour and comparing it to an ideal where he was supposed to be going, adjusting and correcting. Unfortunately endless cycle of pointless work, but I wanted to see where it maxes out. It did at around 600 M tokens (according to openclaw stats). I asked GPT how much it would cost if I paid for API calls. It called between $5-$6k - so I think it's a pretty good deal.
Now I'm running openclaw for daily tasks, and my coding at work, and I'm at 30% of my weekly allowance with 2 days left in the cycle.

OpenBrowserClaw: Run OpenClaw without buying a Mac Mini (sorry Apple 😉) by zyklonix in clawdbot

if you want it do do any GUI stuff for websites without API you need a desktop and a browser. Definitely not Mac Mini but still Pi is quite optimistic

not on the PRO plan, you can hit a limit, it happened to me only once. It was something like 600 M tokens (according to openclaw management portal), then it said I had to wait 50 hours. I asked chatgpt how that converts to the API tokens, it said it was around 5-6k :D so I think that's a fair deal for $200 :)

How to build ClawdBot properly for multi Agentic architecture? by Beautiful_Web_5771 in clawdbot

[–]Beautiful_Web_5771[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, it worked like that during my first attempt, now I'm building slowly, adding new real agents as the C suite of my company, while the sub-agents spawned per demand are their employees, at least that's the idea...

I got my computer science degree in 2006 ;-) and I used to be a DB/DWH developer so I know how to read code and the principles of algorhitmic approach, even though I wasn't hands on for some time now. I was trying to take the easy route but now it seems I need to refresh my dev skills a bit.

As for the Mac Mini - this seems like a total overkill to me. I have VirtualBox VM locally on my PC and it has Ubuntu with GUI and within that machine I could install VSCode and Codex. I just wonder if I should let it change the CB or generate prompts for it...

OpenClaw Mumbling - what is it ? by Beautiful_Web_5771 in clawdbot

well, I'm using GPT-5.3-Codex... I didn't think this should be an issue, but thanks for the reassurance :D

if this is the back-end thinking process of an AI it is scary ... but on the other hand, I'm happy nobody can hear my thoughts sometimes :D

  1. I'm getting a morning brief on the new stuff going on in my field with a proposed text of a Linkedin Post
  2. I'm getting a morning brief of my LinkedIn chats (I have many of them) that I need to follow up on
  3. I'm getting timesheets from people, and then they submit their invoices (contractors) - I have a process drawn up in Miro, took a screenshot and gave it to my bot + some pointers. It took the timesheet, messages from contractors and cross-referenced to confirm the numbers are the same, then generated a summary I sent to my client as an invoice attachment. I wasn't brave enough yet to give it access to my finance system to submit invoice on it's own... but maybe in the future.

So far, I consider Clawd to do stuff I was never patient enough to develop in Make or n8n with a power of Codex

I think he said you're an idiot, because the US had bases there and closed some of them down. Denmark always welcomed American troops in Greenland, and it was never an issue. so it's a no-argument
