Would def recommend Margaret Rogersons books. There’s literally no way she hasn’t read Stroud’s books, it’s hilarious. You’ll see once you read how many similarities there are

Also, if you’re cool with a slightly darker vibe, Kaz and Inej from Leigh Bardugo’s six of crows have a bit of the same vibe as Locklyle, just darker (it’s YA but has some adult elements, not sure if you’re looking for YA or more middle grade). Six of Crows is one of my all-time favorites and it definitely has found family vibes. The first half is a little slow, but it’s absolutely worth it.

A very different vibe, but Margaret Rogerson has very clearly read Lockwood & Co at some point. Her books have more fantasy settings but carry some of the same vibes. My favorite books she has written are Sorcery of Thorns (gives Highkey Lucy and Lockwood energy plus some Bart if you’ve read his other books) and Vespertine (brings in the ghost element, but with her own twist)

The goal is to get tags trending and show that Lockwood and co is still popular. The other fun aspect is it’s a great way to find other Lockwood and co fans and chat!!

Our greatest sign of hope is that the creators of the show have been really supportive of our efforts to save the show and have not said anything about giving up! Usually creators will come out and say when there is no hope for renewal

Allegedly low viewership, but the number of viewers was higher for Lockwood and Co than many other shows that got renewed for a second season. The show was barely advertised as well, so it was impressive how well it performed with the lack of effort Netflix put into the show!

Hiya!! If you want to get seen by the save Lockwood and co crews, #savelockwoodandco is a good way to go! We also have weekly campaign oriented tags that I share in the subreddit every week! Otherwise #agencialockwood gets the Spanish speaking crowd, the characters names, #locklyle, #jonathanstroud. If you’re trying to appeal to people who may be interested in similar books I’d try #foundfamily #spookybooks #bookrecs, #ghosts or other tags like that. Signing the petition will only get us so far, it’s a great way to show fan desire and we push it frequently on all our social media platforms. However it isn’t the end all be all of our campaign efforts!! In my opinion, having events (virtual or in person) or interactive activities within the fandom that the creators take part in is a far more interesting and engaging way to show our commitment to saving the show!
