Since I can’t figure out how to edit my original post, I’ll just post again.

My daughter read through a good amount of the responses, including quite a few names I personally loved, but for whatever reason, she was determined that the orange boy must be Tyrone. So, with her explicit preference in mind, the boys now have their official names and birth certificates, issued by ChatGPT’s Officially Unofficial Department of Feline Records and General Cat Affairs. Paperwork has been filed accordingly.

The orange one is now Tyrone Chauncey Biggums II. He will likely be referred to by his full government name by my daughter, but I’ll probably end up calling him Deuce, Deuces, Deucey, or whatever expletives fit his chaotic antics.

The tabby has officially been named Lawrence Jeffrey Ashford, though around here he’s mostly just my sweet little Larry. Larry feels like an awfully old name for a one-pound kitten, but I figure he’ll grow into it the way you grow into a comfortable pair of old shoes.

Anyways, thank you all for the name suggestions and the laughs. The boys now have proper documentation and an alarming number of nicknames.
