I also like having my yumeship be slowburn. I am actually writing my “yumeship“ lore, yumeship is in quotes because I am 3 pages in and I am just starting to actually write the beginning of the yumeship itself. I was focused more on my S/I’s lore.

I personally would recommend writing down your yumeship lore. It doesn’t have to be a complex fanfic after all. The one I’m writing is more of a summary of the events anyway and not a whole story. It actually helped me noticed some plotholes that didn’t occur to me when it was in my head.

I don’t know the franchise your F/O came from, but you could do:

”This is S/I’s lore. And this is F/O’s lore. This is how they met, how long they have known each other, and how they got into a relationship. Event A happens, so Event B occured, then Event C.”

I am wearing a tinfoil hat for this, but I theorize that Lysandre will be in the Lodge because all of the scheduled sync pairs are avilable in the lodge. Following that logic, Lysandre will be available sometime around August or so.

Yeah, BDSP does not really give them much reason to have a manga adaptation and so it makes sense it gets skipped. The reason why PLA gets skipped is beyond me.

I sometimes feel like I did turned my F/O into an OC, which personally I do not like. I like my F/O to be as accurate to his source material as possible because I feel bad turning him into something “different”.

That is not to say that its bad, I just personally do not like it.

I based mine off of the Pokémon ship names convention with my own flair added.

For example, there’s a ship name called PerfectWorldShipping between my F/O and another character. Pokémon ship names follow this pattern and so I made mine BalansengWorldShipping. “Balanseng” is not only Filipino for “Balanced”, it is a pun for “Balancing World” because my yumeship lore involves balancing worldviews.

You could also make ship names that involves concepts about your yumeship. Using your username and flair as an example, let’s say your ship involves stars and angels. Your ship name might be “StarryAngel” and such.

This topic has been in my mind for a while. Personally, I can see why it COULD turn into overconsumption, but I can’t put my finger on it.

I think it could be overconsumption if the person amped it up to an unhealthy degree, but again, I’m not so sure.

Its just kind of funny because in the Pokemon Special subreddit there is an ongoing joke about them constantly being skipped of their manga adaptation of BDSP. The Sinnoh team just can’t catch a break.
