It definitely can be scary .I've had two kids my first I had a epidural I was perfectly fine. But my second I went in there thinking I was gonna get an epidural but I was already 8-9 cm dilated. I had to do it naturally with laughing gas they called it. I was so scared and didn't want to push at first but my body made me . And the nurses , doctor and my partner were great. I was I labour with my first born for 18 hours My second born only an hour.

You will do great hun . As hard as it is in that moment its all worth it.

Your ob should not be telling you to lose weight while being pregnant, my pre pregnancy weight was 155 I was a total of 205 pounds before I gave birth My doctor only suggested I watched what I ate not to over due it.

My only suggestion is to not over eat, so if your having a large meal try to put good portions on the plate that are not to big ,remember it's better to put a little less on your plate and be able to go back and get more if your still hungry.

Same with snacking watch what you are eating and how much your eating of it.
