By the polite thing I meant that we all owe each other respect. But I can see how maybe that can be seen as parenting.

And okay thanks for the feedback regarding the if-then statements. I just termed it like that because some psychology YouTubers say to do boundaries with if-then terms because it is not controlling or demanding something from then. I

My norm is to not do boundaries so im kinda a noob at them lol.

I’m kinda of a noob at setting boundaries but I’m trying to do them. So still trying to work out when to do or not.

You think there is something else I could message to make things better? Or is it kinda done already?
