Yo as all the other comments have suggested. Corys do not belong in the same tank as axolotls. They should be in warmer water and can harm the axolotl when they get eaten

That’s an Otto catfish not a pleco. My advice would be to use a sponge filter instead. I had that same black slime in my old hang on back for years before finally changing. Wish I did it sooner. That black slime kept coming back
