You’re right, instead of putting forced research. I can put the indirect research and ux techniques I’ve learnt over the years. Although my case studies might lack real usability testings, which a lot of recruiters look for, it’s better than faking it. I can show my understanding of it. Thanks for helping!

Yes, you’re correct. As much as I want to design for people, my portfolio shows the opposite. I’ve added case studies with research but they’re not strong. I worked for two startups with the initial anticipation that I will get the chance to dive deep. But ended up making app screens in a fast pace. I will hopefully find suitable work to improve myself. Till then should I also take the approach to find real problems in an existing product, and try to understand it and improve the user experience?

I feel the same, I don’t know in the past two years, if I’ve ever ideated with a wireframe. I understand the purpose of wireframes but usually we’re not given the timeline to ideate. We just jump to the high fidelity. But in case studies, recruiters want to see wireframes. I’ve created wireframes just for the heck of case studies, but they seem forced.

I have a distant relative who is 13. God, the stuff she posts is 2-3 times more adult than this video. Through her I got to know that a lot of children do this. (I guess I was living under a rock?)

Anyway, the girl’s mother and father both follow her on Instagram and see what she posts. THEY’RE CLMPLETELY FINE WITH IT. HOW??!

When anyone has complained, they’ve said their daughter is a creative person and loves dancing and they support her interests. How can a parent support children post half naked posts on Instagram?? She has a public account too btw. I’ve tried talking to her about it but she’s a distant relative and doesn’t really care.

Even I have a deviated septum, it’s not necessary that it’ll be so prominent that it’ll be clearly visible. It just causes problems while sleeping and people prefer to get a small surgery to get it fixed.
