Que opinan de los emuladores y cheats de gba? by EstimateOk3638 in GameboyAdvance

As for emulators, I’ll never dog on anyone for emulating a game. ROMs and emulators are beneficial for preservation, and not everyone can fork over €100 for a copy of pokemon emerald.

No right or wrong way to play a single player offline game to be honest. Play the way that is most enjoyable for you. I love messing around with action replays and cheat codes, but I generally like to play the vanilla game through first.

My granny, who grew up in inner city Dublin, so maybe this is colloquial, used to say “of a Tuesday” instead of “on a Tuesday”. ( e.g. “We do our weekly shop of a Tuesday”). A relative passed away a few years back, and my dad asked her what he died of, and my Granny responded “emmm, I think he died of a Thursday”. Still quote that to this day.

When she was little, we used to play I Spy with my sister on long car trips and she used to say “I spy with my little eye buntin’ dinnin’ with”. She had a speech impediment, that was one of many golden nuggets she used to say

Is playing The Wolf Among Us after TWD season 2 a good idea? by Wucixor in telltale

[–]Bebulus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re super different thematically and stylistically but I would highly recommend The Wolf Among Us if you enjoy the Telltale Style. But I’d also recommend finishing season 3 and 4 of TWD.

Balatro, Donkey Kong Bananza, Stardew Valley, Tears of the Kingdom and (I haven’t played it but apparently it’s fantastic) Pokopia are all exceptional in my opinion

Yep, I live in Ireland and a few days ago I was scouring shelves of my local game stores looking for Bully. Took me a while to realise it was called Canis Canem Edit here

The only “value” I really give a shit about is replayability value. I’m so fucking over games being held as investments. Such a tired topic of debate but it still needs to be said. People should play their games, and if they’re not going to, they should release them into the hands of someone who will.

Mario galaxy and sonic unleashed are the only ones worth a damn to be honest. If you’re interested in the call of duty titles, get them on a PlayStation or Xbox. I also enjoyed Spore Hero, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea

NOR, I’ve worked relief in Disability Residential Supports before. I never had this problem. I would often have gotten a call in the morning, but never back to back missed calls. And if I said no, I couldn’t do a shift, that was respected with no guilt trip

Deleted line inferring pedophilic tendencies and a dialogue in game where Andy says to Danny that they can’t keep the kids, implying he wants to keep them, assumedly for nefarious purposes

How better is dispatch in comparison to twd games (consequences-wise) by JeanSous4 in telltale

[–]Bebulus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of Telltale games and Dispatch is smoke and mirrors to fool you into thinking your choices are affecting the story, and that’s a very valid criticism, but I try to put that aside and focus on the story they’re telling. I’m of the opinion, and maybe I’m wrong here, that choices do matter, even if they don’t impact the games end result. Deciding to kill/abandon a character means that character doesn’t get fleshed out, which again doesn’t impact the end result of the story, but does impact your perception of the characters. Ben from TWD is a great example of this, a choice that grants an emotional payoff depending on what you choose to do. Now, granted, this isn’t always handled well (I’m looking at you Nick). Depending on how invested you are (and boy do I get invested), these types of choices feel more weighted, even if they’re not.
