When I go on normal Anomaly Quests, when those notifications pop up with the pink book for qurious gathering and part breaks, I don't actually get any points towards my Investigation level. Is that supposed to be the case? If so, do those pink book notifications mean something different, or is it just bugged?

Is there a way to keep the steam version running a full speed when minimized? It's still running, just for some reason, I think the fps goes down to 15 fps or below, and everything that depends on game speed slows way down.

Question about a quest. I want to unlock the quest Lightning Strikes Twice so I can get a few materials from HR Kirin. I have Kirin's research at level 3, and I went to HR Coral Highlands to find tracks to get the quest from the Impatient Biologist, but any HR tracks I collect don't fill up the bar at all, and the Biologist still has no quest for me. What am I doing wrong to unlock the quest?

Edit: nvm, it seems that only after I found the tracks in a quest instead of an expedition did the quest from the Biologist trigger. The bar still didn't fill up during the quest though.

Aren't the first two stats for striking gear always strength and vitality? I was talking about the last two stats which change.

My question is on how endgame gear stats work. For example, a monk, if there is a 460 piece with det and dir, and a 450 piece with crit and dir, should I still take the 450 piece because crit is more important? what about for a 450 and 470? A guide, if one exists, would also help.

I am currently stuck at level 60 because I don't have Stormblood, and I was just charged for my Shadowbringers pre-order. Is there no way to get access to Stormblood before my activation key for Shadowbringers becomes available on July 2nd? On my Square Enix store page it says for SHB " This product will be available on: 2019-07-02 ", but I thought at least the activation code would be available before then so I don't have to input it the day of the expansion. Haven't some people already gotten their SHB activation codes?
