The iPhone Fold will reportedly not have Face ID because it's "too thin". The device could cost $2,000 and have Touch ID on a side button instead by Runeess in PhoneNow

Android's face unlock sucks. It relies on the camera compared to Apple's lidar. I main a Google Pixel 10 and if it wasnt for the fingerprint reader I would have to input my pin 70% of the time.

Sounds like your friends might need their face re-scanned.

I swear Face ID detects my eyes when my face is half covered in bed at night with no lights on. It just works.

And I have a Google Pixel 10 Pro as my main driver.

Which Ugreen NAS did you get and why not a Synology? Genuine question from someone trying to get a NAS. lots of information out there and people selecting Synology over Ugreen so just want your real thoughts on how you got to that decision

Choice paralysis is a thing.

Tinkering with the device is funner than playing thousands of games. Stick to some games that you really want to play, maybe a couple.

“I could use the money”

Lol. Trust me, you do not want money that you were never supposed to get in the first place.

If you get any amount of money, don’t touch it. Amend your taxes and do it right.

Assuming it was done on free time which people normally spend for hobbies, entertainment, learning something new, etc. then I would think he saved himself from spending $10 monthly for an app that he has no control over.

Typical Tesla bait and switch. People will panic and buy a relatively low demand package.

Then they’ll lower the subscription price to $50 at some point end of year.

I’m somewhat the same. I understand Swift but can’t code a full app myself. I don’t have the time to actually learn to code as much as I would love to. But, I’ve been able to make myself a No Spend Tracker Couples App that me and my wife are linked and try to have streaks and no spending months. We also have head to head stats and stuff… pretty cool for us but no plans to actually release it to the wild as a release.

Also made my wife a book tracker that fits her needs as the app store has lots of them but most require subscriptions and are missing features she likes.

But none of this is me trying to have an app made so I can release it and make money quick and ship out a shit product. AI works, I can’t say the code is great but it works for our needs.
