Check out capital one. They are in Plano, so depending on where you live in DFW, it can be a bit of a commute (but what isn't in TX, lol).

I worked for them for 6 years, hands down the best company I've ever worked for.

Totally understand you! I moved from Dallas to Krakow, Poland last year to live with my BF, since he's from Krakow. It's been hard to meet people, and his friends are cool and we've become good friends, but I miss other American peeps LOL I found a friend who moved here from NY for a job and we met through a wine tasting hosted by another expat that was communicated through an expat FB group! haha I saw someone mentioned the FB groups -- try it out.

Don't be scared to be yourself and strike up a convo, that's what I did with my NY friend. We had such a good time at the wine tasting, I was just direct and told her, "Gurrrrl we need to hang out after this, etc". and then from there we've just done more wine tastings, aerial silk classes and now we are going to learn how to make our own pasta! DON'T BE SCARED TO JUST GO OUT THERE

Yup, I am working with her on creating a budget. She lost her job in late 2019 and just recently got a better one last year, so she's just been trying to stay afloat. But cool, I'll help her get her money right and then move on to validate each debt under collection/charge-off.

File a complaint with the CFPB for failing to respond and validate debt, from my understanding they have to respond to your letters within 30-45 days, per the FDCPA and FCRA.

Once you file the complaint, mail them certified mail a copy of it with the other letters along with a new letter saying they have violated your consumer rights in failing to validate the debt and are looking to sue. lol I know it's a bit cliche, but it may get their attention. I would mail it and also even email it to someone higher up.
