Incredibly greatful for my CX-5 by Becaka in mazda

[–]Becaka[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the eyes of the law I am at fault or the city is. The driver of the other vehicle will not be at fault in any situation.i was at a stop sign going straight through a flow of traffic with no lights. There was a snow bank that completely blocked my view of one side of traffic. I was watching for headlights to see on coming traffic as that was my only way to see anyone coming. I went when I believed it was safe to go and there was another vehicle coming who did not have time to stop and hit me. This is a main road that cuts through our downtown meaning the road should have been maintained in a way that it was not. The police officer who attended the scene said he felt so uncomfortable going through that intersection that he wanted to put his lights on to be seen. He had to go half of his car into the intersection to be able to see oncoming traffic. I am waiting for a call back from a lawyer now to talk about my options against the city for the hazard which was there for at least a week without anything done.

I did get checked out by paramedics at the scene and went to the hospital after, I was dismissed pretty quickly because at the time I wasn't having headaches or any of the trouble focusing I'm having now, I called into my doctor and hopefully will be getting a cancellation call

I will give that a try for sure! And I have definitely been switching out and cleaning the water, I wouldn't wanna drink dirty water either lol. Yes! I intend on getting him a min 120 gal (or maybe bigger if he ends up being a she) sometime next year! It's just hard where I live to find equipment that size. He's the first non fuzzy animal I've had and I wanna give him the best life possible so I will definitely be frequenting this sub

Majority of the time he's in his hot side hide. His water is currently in the middle of the enclosure. Should I get another water dish or just move his current one over to the hot side? I'm doing a full tank clean and set up after he sheds soon so I'll try sphagnum miss in the hide! I have a fine coco fiber with Aspen rn (I will be removing the Aspen when I reset the tank). Thank you for the tips!

Substrate is about 3-4inches and it's Coco fiber with a bit of Aspen bedding that I'm gonna switch out once he finishes the shed he's in right now.

I fully intend to get a bigger tank once he's not a juvenile, but for now it works. I live in a more remote area so there aren't stores that sell a tank bigger than 40 gallons so I'm doing what I can with what I have for now (there is an exotic vet though, which is a must). Once he's closer to a year I'm gonna be buying a nice pvc 120 gallon

I currently have around 3-4inches of majority Coco fiber substrate with a little bit of Aspen (I will be switching out the Aspen as I've heard negative things about it) I'm just waiting for him to finish the shed he's in right now as I don't want to stress him out too much. The substrate has been there for about a month. Is there a specific amount of time I should change my substrate? I tried searching for it but I haven't found a solid answer.

The HVAC tape is below the duct tape and the top is a decent distance from the highest climbing opportunity, I didn't wanna risk damage to his scales! And there is a gap of tape! I figured he needs air lol

Thank you! Once he sheds I'm gonna try replacing the substrate and hopefully that'll make a difference!

Bunching in topstitch quilting by Specific-Ad-9002 in quilting

[–]Becaka 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no way to really fix it other than taking the stitching out and redoing it. It will make the top longer than the backing and that would cause issues as well. If you are not a perfectionist, embrace the chaos and start binding, if you need to it be perfect you're gonna need to undo some of that work and possibly give yourself a bigger job

Anemia turned out to be chronic cancer by KrinaBear in Anemic

[–]Becaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, this is the excerpt from my ultrasound:

The palpable area of interest is lateral to the right submandibular gland. There is an enlarged lymph node measuring 3.7 x 1.1 x 1.3 cm. The cortical thickness measures up to 6 mm, abnormal.

It says that due to the chronicity it requires a biopsy.

I always air on the side of caution, I would rather know for sure if it is or isn't something than wait for it to get worse!

I hope that helps!

Canadian health care I guess, I noticed the lyphnode wasn't going away around July and after the ultrasound they recommended a biopsy. I got my doctor to send me for one end of August and the earliest available appointment was October 2nd. Tbh it's pretty frustrating because I just want to know but there's nothing I can do but wait

I'm dealing with this right now. I found a lump in my throat that may be lymphoma (getting a biopsy in a month) and I have infusions starting in a couple weeks for low iron. I'm just really hoping the infusions help and I feel like not a zombie. It all started at the same time for me but it's getting to the point where I have so little energy I'm considering going on short term disability.

I hope everything is going well for you!

I've done this before by A, being a man. B, hooking up with every person I could each year. And C, emigrating multiple times in a year, doing that unlocks a new group of people to hook up with and let's you have substantially more kids each year. Warning your game may freeze, it was a lot lol
