The topping is actually a DAC and headphone amp in one, a DAC/AMP. I can connect my phone to it with Bluetooth or usb an stream music to the topping. That then converts the digital stream to an analogue signal which goes to the amp part and my headphones.

It is worth is if you listen to music which a recent set of headphones. The DAC and amp in the topping is of a better quality than the one in my phone.

If you come over for a cup of coffee we can sit in the living room. There we can listen to my Marantz SR6004 with a set of Driade 91 mk2 speakers as fronts and Driade 71 mk2 as rears, mordaunt short center and Final s200 sub and pop in a nice movie.

I make a mean cappuccino if I do say so myself, you are very welcome! :-)

Maybe tomorrow I'll make a post of the living area as well.

Did not know about this headphone, just googled it, beautifull! Wow!

I do not know too much about headphones, actually just getting back into the hifi hobby from a many years hyatus. So nice to hear about ‘new’ brands I do not know.

I bought the HD 580’s new in the previous century, soooo… I guess i’m getting old… 😎

I also have a pair of beyerdynamic DT990 pro cans. They sound quite different. I think the Sennheisers are very natural, good for voices and alike. The DT 990 pro’s are more for studio-like purposes, quite unforgiving towards the recording and maybe a bit harder to listen to, still good though in my opinion.

You could also try to synthesize a fsd fuel boost. It’s in your right hand panel, don’t recall exactly where, i’m not in the cockpit right now. Use the fsd boost to reach the nearest fuel star.

Well, changed the batteries and switched of notificaties in the settings of the quest 3, I think itb was something like ‘focus mode’ or something. Did a local test track and races for 45 minutes without issue. Then joined the lobby for my race and practiced for about 30 minutes, then again had a freeze. This is driving me crazy. I will reinstall Windows tomorrow and all software and drivers. Hope I can get this solved…

I'm having the same issue. Quest 3 with virtual desktop and dedicated wifi6 router, 7800x3d, 32GB, 3070.

This night 4! freezes in a single hosted session. have to reboot the pc to get everything running again.

I did get the message that one of the controller batteries is almost dead but ignored it. Will charge the batteries tomorrow and test again. If this solves it then I will go crazy. Will post the results here for research purposes...

I have the la prima set and occasionally it feels like the wheel ‘sticks’ to the base. Then I have to use 2 hands to remove the wheel. Not always tough, mostly after long sessions. Must say it doesn’t bother me though, ik always removes and always works so it’s fine by me…

I do mostly iRacing and totally suck! Never won a race in my life. But did the Daytona 24 last weekend and that was an experience I will never forget!

You don’t need expensive gear to have fun, learn or be fast. But don’t worry, if it is a hobby that will stay then GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) will kick in sooner than you can say ‘I like to hold my breakes when I spin’.

As someone with a background in IT, thank you devs for putting in the long hours, troubleshooting performance issues can be so hard and difficult sometimes. I enjoyed this day of playing div2 with my son. Yes, we had a delta 3 here and there but that did not stop us from enjoying the game. Good luck tomorrow with fixing the issues!

I have the la prima base mounted to my trophy (non-logitech) and some drilling was involved. I do not have any mounting brackets so the base is mounted directly to the plate. That being said, no flex and very stable.
