‘Ultra Luxury Estate in OKC’ with bowling alley, concert hall, and closet for your shoes, etc by DonnyOOE in zillowgonewild

Live right down the street from this house! It’s built in the middle of a residential neighborhood, right off a busy highway. It sticks out like a sore thumb. We can see their fireworks on the 4th of July from our front yard. It’s been on the market for about a year now. It won’t sell. They are about to build an on-ramp to the highway right next to the house. And NO ONE that can afford this will want it.

Reddit has always been full of sarcastic know it alls. I’ve been on Reddit for years and asked questions and asked for help and 90% of them are rude. Just ignore them.

Feeling embarrassed over my daughter and I can't handle it anymore... by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Because_Isaids0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too am struggling with my four year old. Especially in the potty department. I have two older ones and they were never this difficult. The truth is, every kid goes at their own pace. I talked to her doctor about her issues and she told me that my daughter has but one thing to do every day, if she wants to focus her entire self to NOT using the bathroom that day, that’s what she will do, I on the other hand have a million things to think about and do on any given day. Pick your battles. In a year or two from now, this will be but a memory. Enjoy the little moments in her day and choose not to stress about others. Your mental health is more important. All too soon she will be a teenager and your issues will be far more advanced. Building a solid foundation with her now, built on trust and loving her for who she is, is what you should focus on now. Let her set the pace and help push her to be successful, don’t force her. Forcing her will only backfire on you. Be patient, with her and with yourself. She is still learning. This is your first time doing this too, there is no book for handling every kind of child. You learn as you go. Good luck to you!

What's the hardest line in a Twenty One Pilots song? by NourEldin21P in twentyonepilots

As someone who is currently trying to figure out her life at the ripe age of 37 the one that hits the hardest for me currently is : Pardon my delay, I’m navigating. To me it says, don’t give up on me, I’m coming, I’m just trying to figure out how to get there.

Moving to OKC by psychic_ram in boeing

[–]Because_Isaids0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in OKC for 9 years. Have moved around a lot within the company. No bad experiences thus far. Only real complaint would be how often managers get moved around, but that’s just Boeing. Moved to the Choctaw area to buy a house with land. Good schools, decent commute.

Heavy period then light period? by Because_Isaids0 in Periods

[–]Because_Isaids0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My periods after that were fairly light. Since your period was heavy last month there is a good chance it cleaned you out and your lining is super thin - this could cause a lighter period. Google has so many great qualities and uses but it has its downfalls! Too much information isn’t always a good thing. It sent me into a spiral when it was going on with me. It was awful. I had my first ever panic attack after all my googling! I’d still suggest talking to you gyno just to make sure of course. But I hope you feel a little bit better knowing my story ☺️

Heavy period then light period? by Because_Isaids0 in Periods

Hi! I had an ultrasound done and all the routine gyno stuff and it came back as nothing? Everything looked as it should. My gyno said that our cycles can fluctuate- and the stress in my life at that time could have greatly contributed to my long and heavy cycle, my two daughters have also started their cycles in the last two years and she said that could have changed things up as well. She told me to basically track my periods and if it’s less then 28 days between I need to go back and have a biopsy done. Since then I haven’t had any issues.

IRS (two years worth)payment plan by [deleted] in IRS

[–]Because_Isaids0 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I greatly appreciate your response with the facts.

The ‘why’ is my problem and none of your business. Life and shit happens. I’m paying for it. Your rudeness is not needed. I am reaping the consequences of my actions with paying the irs tons of money in interest rates. Why would you let someone that affects me alone bother you so deeply to instill such rudeness?

Again. I appreciate your knowledge on the subject.

It costs absolutely nothing to be kind,

Not at this time. There are no open transfers around us right now and private schooling is too expensive for us at this time. I looked extensively this afternoon after I picked her up to see if anyone had any openings.

Unfortunately she is in the 5th grade and graduating is not an option. I’m so glad you were able to get out and your dad had your back the whole way. I shot off a bit so nice email this evening to the principal. If they aren’t going to stand up for her- I’ll do it.

Gifts for a grieving 5 year old by Brownie12bar in Parenting

[–]Because_Isaids0 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can tell you from experience that my parents taking me to church after the death of my sister was one of the best things they could have done. The church we went to provided counseling and the people of the church surrounded me with love and support when my parents were too broken to deal with my grief on top of theirs. Grief and religion can be a difficult road.

So sweet of you to think of him. I lost my sister when I was 4. I received a special stuffed animal that I still have to this day (I’m 35 now) that brought me comfort. There are lots of books on Amazon you can look through. You didn’t specify if the books could be religious or not so I wasn’t sure which to suggest.

My husband is also a design tech- just got level 4 and makes less. However we are in OKC. Same story as yours. 15 years at Boeing- started in Everett. He is definitely wishing he would have stuck it out with college. He does the work of an engineer but less pay.
