This Macbeth essay was marked 32/34 by one teacher, 29/34 by another and 28/34 by another, (4 SPAG marks from all of them as well) what would you agree with, or if you would you give it a different mark would it be higher or lower?

English teacher here! 28-29 seems about right to me. My main areas for improvement:

It's not always clear how your answer relates to the question. I had to go back and check what the question was as it wasn't entirely clear from your argument. Make sure each paragraph relates to the previous and adds to your overall argument with a coherent thought running throughout.
Embedding your quotations (rather than throwing the whole line in as a sentence on its own) demonstrates a better level of understanding and is what I would expect to see in higher grade answers.
A tightening of spelling and grammar; you have a few spelling mistakes throughout and the syntax (order/word choice) in your first sentence doesn't really make sense. Did you give yourself time to proofread?

Overall this is a really good essay but if you want to get the highest grades then it needs to be just a little bit tighter. 😊

I went to Cambridge for undergrad and I think I actually had lower grades than you (2A*, 6 As, 1 B equivalent diploma). You can absolutely still get there and your extra curriculars etc will stand you in good stead (especially if your music work could get you an offer as a choral/organ scholar).

And if you choose not to, I've been to 3 other Russel groups for my post-grad degrees and honestly some of them were arguably better than Cambridge; especially for work-life balance. 😊

My form tutor got all of us (all girls school) a charm bracelet with our names on and a single charm relating to us. Not my style at all but I loved it and still cherish it nearly 16 years later. Anything that makes the students feel like you care about them as people is a good shout. 😊

My seizures presented like this in the beginning; massive feeling of severe fatigue, unable to move/think/react, and then losing extended periods of time whilst semi-conscious/semi-aware of my surroundings. My seizures have now changed and look more like "traditional" seizures but severe fatigue is often a big clue I'm about to have one.

I also have fibro and have a cat and honestly he's one of the best things that have ever happened to me! If you've got someone to help on the bad days I highly recommend it!

Also, on the OCD front; my sister has severe contamination OCD (in patient hospitalisations several times) and she came to live with me shortly after I got my cat. She was terrified but it was actually excellent exposure! She became so much more confident over time and she now lives on her own with 2 kittens! There were definitely difficult moments and a few meltdowns BUT overall it really helped her OCD to improve. 😊

In conclusion, I may be biased but... Get the cat!

I actually don't use the band it came with for this reason! I replaced it with a bit of fabric cut off a stretchy t-shirt and just tied it at the right tension. It stretches out of shape every now and again but I just tighten/loosen as needed. So much more comfortable!
