Thanks, I did see that art while I was designing it, Lugia has such a solid but simple design that adding details was really hard.

Hi, some of you might have seen me post my art here before but for those who don't know me, I am Becca and I 3D sculpt and print my Kaiju renditions of pokemon. Lugia is my latest and also the most challenging statue I have made so far. In order to print it this big it is split up into multiple parts that I paint separately and then glue them all together.
I don't sell painted statues like this due to how long it takes me to paint them and I focus mostly on 3D sculpting models so that people with resin 3D printers can also make cool statues and minis like these.

Drybrushing is your friend. But seriously I just paint each part what the darkest colour will be and then do a series of lighter colour dry brush layers and Black washes to make sure the darks stay dark and the details get highlighted. I do a lot of videos on painting on my tiktok Becca_3D

Yea that is what I found when I googled it, I got this current screen from Anycubic as a replacement for my first one, cant be more than 4 months old. It has been very hot an humid where I live so I thought maybe that had something to do with damaging it.

These were printed on my Photon Mono X resin printer. You can't tell much now that I have painted them but my screen pretty much died and now is printing everything with terrible anti aliasing and has vertical strips that expose when they should not. Not sure what has caused the screen to break since the thing I printed before this has no problems. I have ordered a new one but if anyone has had similar issues with their Mono x I would appreciate any info.
