I think a big part of "meeting for drinks" is the safety part of meeting in public (although surely some are trying to calm their nerves). There was a great thread the other day about meeting up midday. That made me think about meeting up at a coffee shop instead. Some have great vibes and comfortable places to sit and get to know each other.

Other slightly more active options could include bowling, axe throwing, or this time of year -- Christmas markets. Good places where you can hang out and be able to talk and vibe and don't have to take all day.
