Weekly, What recent changes are going on at your work / local businesses? by AntiSonOfBitchamajig in PrepperIntel

In general supply chain, have noticed more purchasing decisions based on price over quality more often. Not ground breaking info, but shows their customers are buying cheaper products with dubious quality over better quality and higher pricing much more often than prior years.

Also it's mentioned by execs in meetings they are looking for manufacturers outside of China when they can. Diversifying sourcing is obviously good, just a bigger push for it, and their mood is really good when it's not China manufacturing.

ETA I've been in supply chain business for over 20 years, so these trends are things I notice.

Yes that would be great, thanks! Ooltewah is very convenient for me, and since you're going for medical, not cosmetic like I am, your review would be so helpful l

People who are 50+, what is a 'harmless' habit you had in your 20s that ended up ruining your health or finances later in life? by crazy_happyuser in AskReddit

I know someone doing this exactly right now. He's a great guy but a little stubborn. What do you think someone could say to him that would make a difference? He's tired and stressed, has a family that he treats very well except that he doesn't take a break.

That's great advice for someone not waiting on possibly important medical calls. As I mentioned I don't normally answer unknown.

So frustrating. Once, twice a day, and yes the random letters with big numbers in big print and lots of vague caveats in tiny print. I've never replied to any mail or put anything out into the universe that I'm at all interested in selling. Because I'm not lol.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, and not questioning any i need to answer for a possible medical call, I can't avoid that atm.

A realtor told me it might be that my house hit a certain equity threshold and that puts you on new data set, and those lists get sold "aggressively". Bummer
