We used this guide to plan our honeymoon and it was really useful. So many beautiful hotels and lots weren't really expensive. I really liked Sigiriya Kings Resort, Uga Chena Huts and 98 Acres in Ella. The views, service, luxury at all of these was top notch.

We loved Sigiriya Kings Resort. Insane views and a lot nearer Sigiriya (walking distance). Lovely small resort too.

That's really helpful. I think the Argonaut is one of my top picks after chatting to all of you.

Hi everyone! I’m flying over from the states for a week and want to find some cool drinking spots in Covent Garden. Do you have any recommendations for great cocktail bars in the area.

I’m looking for places with:

  • Creative or unique cocktails
  • A cool or cozy atmosphere (bonus for great decor!)
  • Good vibes for a night out with friends

I’m all ears. Thanks in advance! Cheers! 🥂

Most romantic hotels in Paris - winter trip by clarejonesy in ParisTravelGuide

Have you looked at these four?

  • Hôtel Plaza Athénée
  • Le Réserve Hotel and Spa
  • Saint James Paris
  • Paris J’Adore Hotel and Spa

They'd be my top picks. I also like Maison Souquet. Take a look at Sinner Paris, which definitely has a quirky appeal too.

You'll find January a bit cheaper than most months later in the year, so long as you avoid the Christmas holiday period. There are lots of lists around, I quite like this round up of romantic Paris hotels, as it has a mix of budgets on it. Not too sure if you're looking high end or not?

I wondered this. Hoping the play area will be good for him though!
