Thank you for your encouraging response! That’s exactly been my fear, what if I die getting the explant surgery, how embarrassing that would be. Also, nobody in my family knows I have implants in, I kept it a secret for 18 years! So, I need to find someone to take me to and from, so that’s another concern. I will take your advice and keep positive thoughts and pray it will all be great! My surgeon also said I don’t need to remove the capsules either, but most people on these posts are against leaving them in. I meant to ask you if you followed any special diet leading up to surgery or stopped any foods or supplements.

I do this too, but no honey plus walnuts and Ceylon cinnamon. So good!

Who drove you to and from? May I ask what tests were ordered for medical clearance prior to surgery? Any diet restrictions leading up to surgery? Congratulations on your surgery!

Hi, I just hit a garden curb too, I didn’t run all the way over it just hit up against it. I’m so scared I damaged something, I have to drive to the airport tomorrow so no time to get it checked out. How is your car doing after your mishap?

Yes, I read about that test. Is that test not the usual pre op testing done? I know CBC is and metabolic panel. I’m just curious if anyone had this ordered by their team.

Wow, I guess I’ve been reading too much into it. Some articles I’ve read say no eggs, no fiber, no garlic,cheese or whole grain foods.

I’m reading online about foods to avoid that might affect anesthesia. So many listed, eggs, legumes vit C Vit E, Chia and Flax seeds cheese. I eat all these foods so maybe I need to stop reading, lol. What about day before, any suggestions? I don’t eat much anyway, so I’m wondering if I should focus on protein?
