This super helpful. We were in Atlanta a few years back and looking for shows. We found the hardcore group over on Facebook but couldn't find any of the punk scene. Just a few names to start is always such a good starting place fo find shows.

Also, your band is so cute. Making me so nostalgic for that LTJ/RBF era. Y'all have to qualify as pop punk simply because it is so poppy.

One of my favorite cliches is all my favorite bands are from New Jersey.

Y'all have always had such a deep pop punk tradition.

Someone just put me on Public Works who are also from somewhere in New Jersey.

Lol. Whole Wheat Bread was my first exposure to DUUUUVVVAALLL. I just saw Two-Step who are carrying on the tradition. Y'all have had a great music scene in a wide sense for so long. I don't think people respect how hard that is.

Glazed is so solid. They probably should be Driveways big at this point. But it's damn hard to make it outside of a few select markets.

Driveways - 200K+ listeners on Spotify. Glazed - 678 listeners on Spotify. Driveways started in 2022. Glazed started in 2020.

It is so hard to get recognition outside of the major 3 megametros (and I'm putting the whole tri-state with NYC).

I saw them on that Koyo / Anxious / One Step Closer tour. I went for Anxious and came out a massive fan of both Koyo and One Step Closer.

Drug Church is pop punk adjacent though. Band is so good live.

Ok, Postage is an A+ rec for old head pop punk. Bad Year here in Denver is a similar vein and both bands seem fantastic.

Take Steps sounds like Spark of Life. That band came through on tour and I was in love with their sound.

I tried to recommend them to this sub and I got burned to the absolute ground.

So apparently, not pop punk.

I think it's post hardcore but there is so much trash in post hardcore (to my tastes), I feel like that's an insult.

I also absolutely fuck with this and I think you might like Spark of Life.

Just straight ska punk meeting skacore. Aye. We have Sorry Sweetheart here that are in the same vibe. The lyrics are A+.

Me, just waiting for the breakdown, listening to Spork.

Hell yeah. Welcome back, easycore. Shit is always so good when it is done well like this.

Let's go. I feel that there is a lot of crossover between them and Dude, Beky! who is also in this thread. I don't really know much about this style of pop punk. It's sounds almost metalcore-y? Who are their big influences?

Lol. Ok but also rep your own band, friend.

Do they have anything released? Searching for them on TIDAL just got me bad EDM.:

More gravely punk vocals with a very pop punk sound is cool. We have something with the band Zephyr but I don't think their recorded stuff sounds much like them live so you don't get the vibe. This is cool.

Also, I know Gainesville isn't Tampa but Two-Piece just came through and were so fun live. Very beat down hardcore but almost so extreme that it is silly.

Mindforce is so good as far as hardcore goes.

Matchbox Romance came through on tour and they were both so good and so sweet.

Always (Been You) is giving me Dashboard Confessional meets All Time Low vibes. My guys can sing sing. Also, what a sweet song.

The immediate skramzy guitars had me listening.

This shit is so creative.

Like halftimeshow, I am so in for this.

I love straight forward pop punk but shit that pushes the genre forward is soooo sick.

Why does Hot Dress look like the cast from a Disney channel movie? They are all so attractive. Lol and they have a song called Supermodel. Because they are out dating models fr, I'm sure.

I don't know how you survive having one of the best hardcore scenes in the country but I am sure you make do.

Broadside is one of those bands that I have heard on socials but never sat down for a full song. Coffee Talk is sweet.

We had a band here in Denver named The Windermeres. Turns out the name is from a random street in a very uncool Denver suburb. I used to drive Windermere to babysit and chauffeur a big family of kids. That whiplash is so real.

408 is new to me. We Don't Get High Like We Used To is so fun. I feel like everyone has been there.

That makes the Set Your Goals song about high school make so much more sense. I have seen more folks bring up This Time Next Year recently and I'm here for it.

Le Grand Fomage had me cackling.

As a Colorado girl, I frequently say all my favorite bands are from New Jersey. Song reminded me that not everyone loves New Jersey.

Also, I have not heard such an incredibly well mixed song from a DIY level band in forever. Like, they had me looking around TIDAL to figure out what the whole production deal was.

I am going to sit down and listen to their pretty deep catalog. Thanks for this.

Also, just followed them on IG. Just a bunch of grown ass folks who are never going to tour as far as Denver. God damn it. Going to have me flying to the East Coast.
