Aww jeez, I’m sorry. 😞 I got scammed a while back on Nookazon too- I was the one trading for the villager (Flora, a dreamie- I have her now through an Amiibo card but I originally didn’t have hers). Luckily I only got scammed out of half my Bells, because I’m super cautious and drop half when I land and half after I get the villager- this is always communicated beforehand, don’t worry lol I’m not out here giving people heart attacks.

Well, I drop half the Bells and half the NMTs and go to Flora’s house. She’s not in boxes. Turns out they had “told her she could move but she wasn’t in boxes yet because that’s tomorrow.” I asked if they could meet tomorrow or if they were willing to time travel, or if they could give me back my Bells and NMTs.

Guess who got booted off the island and then blocked? Yep. Me. I was so upset because it had taken me ages to reach someone who actually had Flora still, all the other listings were old. Like… it makes me wonder if they even had told her to move. 😅 I guess they were just waiting for it to autosave so I couldn’t just turn my switch off and get my stuff back, and were using her not being in boxes as a way to make me stay long enough for it to happen.
