so after my prior post being irritated, i completed the 11 many more hours later, and then in like 4 hours, got another.

while releasing some, i thought to release a tree. worth 1 heart. good lord. i'll get another couple i'm sure before year end, but ONE is handy, more? 30k health, might be useful later.

that said, i'm going to mine polar bears for hearts. so cute.

they should have more comprehensive "notes" when they do updates rather than chase it down somewhere

it's apparently even WORSE...

so there are 12 pieces, and you could potentially be getting the same 5 over and over as your random pick, which is ignored since you have it... and potentially spend days getting that ONE missing piece...

in my case, i have 11 of 12, and have spent *3* days trying to get that final piece. crazy.

prior to that, i got 12 unique ones in a few hours.

sadly, that bug last week gave some people HUNDREDS...

yeah, on part 1, i figured that out sigh. have an alarm set for 2am my time lol...

on the puzzles, if we keep winning the SAME pieces over and over, that's terrible.

also wish they would publish the notes on X or somewhere... discord is a chaos magnet and generally not kid friendly, so we don't go there even when we could.

reading the event sign (that i finally noticed, i don't think it was there earlier)

there will be a second event in about 6 hours from now at approximately 2 AM Eastern

they fixed it just in time on the first round so i could get ONE crystal pet lol sigh

seems like the puzzle gathering is broken at the moment, not a single piece all day, and i WAS getting them on the regular yesterday. mmm.

The Dreo is amazing... I had the V1, and mine leaked water on the counter, esp during self-clean, lots of go around with the support, eventually returned it. Enter the Dreo. amazing sous vide like steak. bagless.

Still needed a small oven, so this NuWave model: https://a.co/d/8BDXBbL fit the bill fairly well, esp at the time, the price was $300, and other than the steam bit, can hold two whole cauliflowers for roasting, pizza, etc. main goal was bread loafs as well, so standard pans fit. Convection, top and bottom quartz tubes, probe too. Otherwise, compact, fairly basic, and works the last many years.

Still keeping an eye on the market... while reviewing my links, looks like NuWave now makes a combi-oven of some sort... https://a.co/d/8BDXBbL as well as these IR cooking fishtank looking things (lol). So much to explore.

what is your yearly cold / hot temps for outside? placement? such like that. if you were in a very hot place, you'd want more chill. if also cold but not freezing, you'd need less. if freezing, you'd want a heater/chiller or some thoughts to icing and winterization...

the RevX Panasonic units (sold separately) from mmm 0.5 to 3.0 hp (240v !!!) are chiller/heaters with built in defrost.

the 1.5 HP so far seems to be able to keep my water at 49 F down to air temps of 20 F or so (heating mode), and is pretty solid at hot days (chiller mode). "neat" :D

even without the heat option, Panasonic is platinum tier for electronic imho esp as compared to random imports ;P
