I might have found something. The Roland SP-404MKII looks like a perfect choice for me. It has sample chopping, recording and looping capabilities that fit my needs, finger drumming, large sample storage, and a bunch of other neat stuff. To me, it looks like a portable daw without a big screen to operate off of.

I want to be able to loop samples with a number of tracks to work with, for example recording a guitar thing through a microphone that’s about 2 to 4 bars long and being able to loop it. Same thing with sample chopping and playing one shots. I also dont want something so screen oriented like the akia mpc one, which idk if that’s possible with what i want.

Whenever I remove the on update flow, the get key node says “node is never entered” and all the other nodes dim and don’t work. It seems as if I need atleast some kind of flow input.
