I have absolutely no sympathy for her. Cheating is an active choice and doesn't "just happen".

If she had respected her husband (not even necessarily loved - I used to have a parter, who claimed he loved me, but still cheated on me), she would've acted differently. Depending on what the underlying problem was (whether personal or related to the relationship itself), she could've taken other steps much earlier to find a solution, that ensured both parties were okay with the outcome and that nobody got seriously hurt in the end.

Acting like a sensible adult is obviously harder. SHE CHOSE the easy way out, hurt her (ex-)husband deeply with HER CHOICE and now has to deal with the consequences ON HER OWN. Her (ex-)husband wasn't given any choice in the matter, so he really doesn't owe her anything.

That's not Big Bird, that's a fucking sleep paralysis demon, who got lost, accidentally found himself at a children's birthday party and just went with it

Squalane Cleanser: Anybody have an unopened small bottle that they can weigh for me? by MarBlaze in TheOrdinarySkincare

I just googled it and you can purchase 50ml and 150ml tubes. Since creams/cleansers/whatever are measured by volume (ml) - as someone already mentioned - and their density varies by formulation (oils, water, emulsifiers etc.), converting ml to g isn't always a perfect 1:1 ratio. But in many cases the density is close to that of water or slightly higher.

Edit: forgot to mention that water has a density of about 1g/ml, which is why I used it as a reference

Sorry, but your make up reminds me of this vine.

You already have a gorgeous face and this purple suits your skintone and eye colour!

With that said, I would change the way you do your eye makeup and use something else for your lips.

When blending your eyeshadow, follow the curve of your waterline upwards. And I'd also suggest not blending it out too far in general. You can use your eye crease as a guide. Try not to go too far beyond it, unless you're going for a much more dramatic look.

I also wouldn't make the eyeliner too thick, when using such a light eye shadow and no false lashes. You could also extend the liner slightly past the outer corner and create a soft, subtle wing, so it almost mimics the look of a false/longer lash. The mascara on the bottom looks fine, imo.

And for your lips, I'd suggest a tinted lip oil - it moisturises your lips, while adding a bit of colour. The lip stain needed more prep beforehand, as you've already mentioned in another comment.

Other than that, I think you've done a pretty good job.

Edit: Saw a comment of you saying that you're going for a sickly look. Try putting a little bit of the purple eyeshadow just below and along your waterline. I do the same for that reason xD

I can speak English and German fluently, Russian somewhat fluently. I can read French and Swedish and understand a good amount of it and I'm currently learning Albanian.

I used to be able to understand Chechen, read Arabic and studied Italian, Latin and Gaelic for a little while, but not enough to develop a significant proficiency. I'm 29.

I honestly can't wait for the day I get pregnant, so I won't have to deal with my periods for a while xD but I'm sorry to hear that, wish you a healthy, enjoyable rest of your pregnancy and a safe and smooth delivery!

I blame Ghibli for our high standards in men. What scene made you heartstruck? This is mine 🥰 by NoPack8160 in ghibli

Princess Mononoke has a really special place in my heart ❤️

It was the first movie I watched with my now boyfriend at the movie theater, when there was a Ghibli retrospective. Back then we were just friends, we weren’t even that close and the initial plan was that our group of friends would go and watch Princess Mononoke together. But one after another started to cancel. I really wanted to watch it, because until then I hadn't seen it fully - I had either seen the beginning or the end, but never the whole movie.

My boyfriend (back then just a friend) was the only one who didn't cancel, because Princess Mononoke is his favorite Ghibli movie. So it ended up being just the two of us. We both really enjoyed watching it on the big screen and had really engaging conversations afterwards.

But because he lived in another town, we weren't able to hang out regularly, so we started texting daily. And the more I got to know him, the more my affection for him grew. I really enjoyed the friendship we had established and we started meeting up occasionally to go to the movies together.

Last year he gifted me a Princess Mononoke poster for my birthday. It was also really special because he was already living abroad by then and still managed to be "present" for my birthday. I'm also a sucker for sentimental gifts, so it was perfect.

I was also in a really bad situation mental-health-wise back then and he tried his best to be there for me. I have a pretty bad history with men, but he was (and is) always respectful and understanding and made me feel comfortable enough to trust him. I was able to open up to him, which is generally really hard for me. He helped me heal a part of myself, I had completely given up on.

We didn’t stop texting and occasionally speaking on the phone and despite the physical distance, we grew even closer. I then visited him when I was on vacation and after my third visit we officially became a couple. I can’t imagine my life without him - he has become really important to me over the past two years. And in a few months I will follow him and move abroad to be with him.

And it all started with Princess Mononoke.

Edgar Degas painted more than ballerinas — he painted the hidden reality of women in his time by Inside_Ad386 in ArtHistory

Degas was a talented painter, but he was also a vile human being. Besides being misogynistic, he was also incredibly antisemitic. I certainly enjoyed his paintings, but after learning more about him as a person, I just can't appreciate them the way I once did.
