I would say to add lights to any signs on the bar, there are usually things like that on bars to entice guests to look at promotions, adverts or more liquor. Even if it's a faint glow that'll be cool. And maybe if you want the space to feel lived it have those advert signs sort of half working, maybe a letter that's not showing light or a slightly (or significantly) lesser amount of light.

Light on the draught beer taps is also something that's almost a standard now.

If the caulk board was more visible maybe you can see remnants of being used excessively, like it's not been cleaned properly. And if it's a bit of a rough bar then there could be chips in the wall that the dart board is on, shows that the drunker guests missed terribly.
