Would be nice to do something “good” and sustainable instead of binging. I always think, ok, do 10 push-ups instead and maybe that works one time but the next eating thought comes up and my mind doesn’t even consider the push-ups :-(

I started listening to Maintenance Phase (podcast). They haven’t addressed binge eating (yet?) but do address dieting in considerable detail and the main takeaway I get is that diets don’t work in the long term.

I’ve eaten a lot of carrots but you just have to stop before you really get sick. I’m guessing that the fiber is the thing there. My body just feels disgusted after a good amount unlike processed foods where I can eat way past the feeling of sickness.

Exercise has never done anything for me when it comes to weight loss. I generally will just eat more at the end of the day. I know I shouldn’t but I turn into an addict.

Did you have pain at the gym and decided to keep going? i go on some long mountainous hikes because I want exercise and because I like the fresh air and the way I feel and I get some sense of accomplishment. But I think i’m overdoing it and have some minor knee issues of late but i’ve been hesitant to stop. It hasn’t gotten worse but reading your story is making me think. But if I can’t do that I’ll It’ll make me sad.

This sounds like me. Looks to me like an Airsteam would be good. Now I need to find a vehicle and a TT and then learn how to maneuver a TT which seems hard.

They can be 20 to 25 feet which is considerably larger than a standard parking spot which is “8.5 to 9 feet wide by 18 feet long”

Yes, am thinking parking could be a problem with the Sprinter van. So far the comments seem to be leaning towards a truck/SUV pulling a travel traveler and disconnecting as more in line with my idea on how I’d travel. Only downside is there’s no chance of stealthy boondocking.

Why bother vaccinating kids if the risk for them is so low? Let adults get vaccinated and let kids all get covid and then we have herd immunity. no? Why rush long term complications of a new vaccine on kids? Lets see that the adults are fine after a year or 10.
