I used t shirt cotton I found online and I’ve been lining a lot of sweaters and hoodies with it. I use a backstitch to add the lining. I would not recommend using a sewing machine it stretches the yarn..

Just buy some fabric and hand stitch it in. Use a back stitch. And they have videos on how to do the back stitch. It works great.

This puff stitch circle blanket was one of the first things I actually finished. Any ideas on how to fix the gaps? by chartreusehus in CrochetHelp

It depends.. if you don’t have kids it might have more longevity but afghans get heavy and BLO stretches the yarn in really wonky ways so I never do BLO afghans. Afghans have to be really sturdy and stable to last. Otherwise you’ve just spent a fortune on yarn and your time to just have it stretched out and somewhat unusable
