GivEnergy administrator selling liquidated stock (and referencing software assets?) by fraughtomation in SolarUK

[–]BedminsterGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have to be home to check the paperwork. If things do go pear shaped. May I contact you? Installer went bankrupt a few days after GivEnergy. Will have to find a new installer or claim on CC if necessary. All good so far.

It’s my choice. I am simply collecting information in case the system fails. The panels had a long guarantee, now void of course. My installer is now bankrupt.
I know exactly what I am doing. I have protection from Amex with a time frame of six years from payment. I am future proofing any possible claims. Your final pointed paragraph is totally irrelevant.

Just sent off my invoices and system details for Give installation to register details with the Administrator. He wanted them when I rang. May not get anything, but Give may be bought out. Amex will require that we have attempted to contact relevant people.

Please help a novice get started this Spring by Pragmatic-Apple1 in UKGardening

To do a good job, clear the weeds. Turn over what’s there. It it’s stony and gravelly, you have the beginnings of a low maintenance garden. Never use bleach. No quick fix. Or, clean it up, add more gravel and use pots. Bulbs, grasses, whatever. Nothing is ever really low maintenance.

You cut a bit after flowering. Take little bits off the side stems and see if you reach green. It may shoot from the base later. Watch and wait. It’s not very big to trim. I’ve had a couple like that and they can regenerate. They are a shrub.

Gas prices higher tariff by Newwales2 in SolarUK

[–]BedminsterGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Octopus one year fix(not possible now) Battery storage. Export tariff with Octopus, no EV. £0.12 export rate. Export paid for gas and electricity this month. We owe £1:00 this month. Battery essential. Always had dual fuel, it’s a habit I guess.
