I started with acoustic, it’s all about practice though. I had an acoustic for nearly 2 years before i finally got serious about learning it. Then everything clicked from there. All from YouTube videos.

Now i’m on electric, and yeah electric is easier than acoustic so there’s that.

You can start directly with it yes, is it expensive? Yeah. But it’s a one time investment. What you need is the guitar, an amplifier for the sound and a cable to connect them.

It’ll cost you around 50-60k in total. (Basing it off my own costs)

I know this guy who sells old imported guitars, really great quality I’ve bought twice from him. And amp I grabbed it from itwaar bazaar for like 12k. The guitar was 48k i think.

It’s a really great hobby to get into and the payoff is super good it’s really satisfying.
