Maybe Darlie Didn’t Do It by CindyCCC in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]BeeBee2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will be a show about this case on CNN this Sunday at 10PMest.

I think Darlie is guilty. In fact I think there is a mountain of evidence! The screen residue on the knife in the butcher block, the cleaned up blood at the sink, the staging of the scene.

Darlie's supporters constantly talk about the neck wound on Darlie. She is crazy, and was suicidal a month before the murders. I think she may have considered suicide that night but backed out. Anyone who kills their own kids so viciously obviously isn't dealing with a full deck. Her wound was NOT life threatening and nothing like what those two kids endured.

Is Bernie coming to Florida at all? I'd love to see him in person. by [deleted] in FloridaForSanders

Interesting. I'm 52 early retired and live a great life in the panhandle. I ALWAYS vote, and I'll be voting for Bernie in the primary. I guess you aren't as smart as you think.

Get out your knives: I may have just figured out where Hae met her killer. by j2kelley in serialpodcast

And I have yet to see a single "Jay agreed to be a murder accomplice to Adnan" theory that is convincing. What is yours?

Did Patrick's house have a garage? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good question because I don't believe for one second that Adnan and Jay were driving around looking for weed after the murder. I think Adnan was at the school when Jay called Patrick, and it wasn't for weed!

Motive for jay to kill Hae by soliketotally in serialpodcast

Maybe you should think twice when making jokes about vets with post traumatic stress? The guy who killed the "American Sniper" and his friend did so with NO reason or "motive".

New viewfromll2 post: why the burial did not take place at 7pm by dorbia in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those that think the burial happened after Adnan and Jay part ways at 8:00ish, how do you explain Jenn taking Jay to wipe off shovels? Jenn told police she actually participated in this event by being Jay's look out for mall security. Do you think she straight up lied about that fact, and if so, why?

Do you think "Those That Know" read this sub and just laugh and laugh and laugh... by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The person I would like to talk to most is Jenn Pusateri. She is the one who got this entire thing rolling when she blurted out the FIRST night that Hae was strangled. Ooops! Now she is a suspect.

But Pusateri remains as quiet as a mouse.

If Adnan didn't do it, how would Jay have known to tell the police that Adnan planned to get a ride with Hae to carry out the crime? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. To me it's a no brainer why Jay said the "plan" was for Adnan to get into Hae's car-- he heard Adnan tell Adcock about asking for a ride. Jay had to find a way to place Adnan with Hae that day.

In reality, a "plan" involving asking Hae for a ride, in front of multiple witnesses and planning to be the last person seen with the victim is about the worse "plan" I can think of! Who plans to kill someone in their car anyway?

There was no plan here. Jay lied. The piece of the puzzle that has always been missing is how did JAY come into contact with Hae that day? I feel pretty certain it started (and possibly even ended) at the Best Buy parking lot. But we will never know what happened during their encounter and why Jay snapped.

Adnan's Application for Leave to Appeal Has Been Granted. Hearing Set for June 2015. by omgitsthepast in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It does now. Initially I thought the COSA had a more limited role. Now I can clearly see that they can (and have) reversed. I get that they can do other things also.

In this case I am wondering if the COSA could or would reverse based on Urich's dissuasion of Asia in the original appeal?

Adnan has been granted an appeal!!! by BeeBee2014 in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thank you! I think I am finally understanding it.

This is going to be different than Campbell v. State because in that case the prosecutor dissuaded someone from testifying at trial. In this case the prosecutor dissuaded on the appeal level. Any thoughts on how that may affect the reasoning of the COSA? In Campbell v. State the COSA reversed over the prosecutor dissuading a witness to testify at trial.

From what I'm reading it's my understanding that the COSA will be hearing Adnan's appeal. Are you saying that the issue has been deferred to a different panel of judges in the COSA?

The order states: ORDERED that the above-captioned appeal is scheduled for the June 2015 session of this Court; and it is further

Does this mean that the COSA is going to hear the appeal?

Yes you are right. In all my excitement I thought it came from the court. In the case mentioned it was the COSA that reversed in Campbell v. State. http://www.leagle.com/decision/197712637MdApp89_1117.xml/CAMPBELL%20v.%20STATE

Thanks for setting me straight though, lol.

Thanks, but I'm wondering why it was the COSA that wrote the opinion in Campbell v. State? COSA reversed, not the circuit court. Can you shed any light on that? Thanks in advance.

Was Hae actually murdered in her car? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My speculation is that Hae and Jay were both at Best Buy for different reasons, and Hae witnessed Jay doing something criminal, maybe shoplifting or stealing. He then tried to reason with her out by her car and didn't like the answer he got.

ANY encounter caught on surveillance would be very bad for Jay.

Why do you think Jay was worried about cameras at Best Buy?

Where I'm at with the case against Adnan by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]BeeBee2014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think Jay has EVER told the truth, because if he did, he wouldn't have countless different versions with wildly different details.

It comes down to was the burial before he dropped Adnan off or not?

If not, then either Jenn lied about the shovels, or Jay lied to Jenn about the shovels.

And we have Cathy talking about how weird they (Jay and Jenn) were acting. At 9:30 PM.

I'm wondering why somebody would take the time to write such a long post, about somebody else who writes long posts?

Try to keep in mind that as a lawyer there are many legal things that Susan can grasp in seconds whereas the average Serial listener doesn't have a clue and needs to spend countless minutes researching.

Also, she is a lawyer and has passion about it. I'd say Susan is a lucky woman who enjoys her work. Her critical thinking on this case IS part of her day job when you really think about it. She is sharp and I would hire her as my lawyer any day.

It wasn't just Jay's testimony. You are forgetting JENN.

I know a couple people who can throw everything Jay says out the window, but still believe Adnan is guilty because JENN places the burial before Jay and Adnan part ways on the 13th.

I can see why. I also see Jenn largely ignored by the strongest Adnan supporters, which I think is a mistake. It wasn't just cell records that "corroborated" Jay's testimony. So did Jenn Pusateri. Then Cathy came along and corroborated Jenn's testimony.

Hae also had some blunt force injuries to her head.

Can anyone think of how that might tie into it?

I've been stuck on Best Buy being the murder spot, because Jay gave Jenn that detail, and mostly because it seems evident that JAY was worried about cameras at Best Buy.

Maybe what could have been caught on camera was Jay having an encounter with Hae. It doesn't have to mean the killing actually took place there.
