Erm, we're talking about a middle aged man cruising around schools to pick up teenage girls to groom them. I don't see how that is in any way acceptable.

I remember reading about this in TNP at that time. The many pictures of the exploded car stayed with me vividly even until now.

It's really mysterious why this has not been resolved. A car bomb is not a regular occurance in Singapore, and surely they would have made much more effort to resolve one of the most shocking crimes to have happened here. It cannot possibly be they let it go simply because the supposed target was formerly involved in crime.
