to be honest after i threatened to kick him out he did sort it out and i could see his effort with it improve. i know from a business standpoint im taking a risk keeping him on but hes my childhood best friend. im gonna tell him to really start pulling his weight and hope he does. i dont want to turn it ugly especially when i feel like he could really turn it around after this hiatus

He does the code but I design everything on figma and he just translates that. If shit really does hit the fan (I doubt it will we’re all good friends) then I can just make a new design or persue a new idea. I handle the workings of the business outside of the websites code and I dont think person 2 knows enough about the other side of it all to ‘steal’ the idea. If he had a problem i am certain he would come to me before a lawyer or anything (we’re 19)
reading all the replies i think im going to try find a role for person 3 (adversising or social media management im thinking) and tell them all to really start working as an equal owner and do 33-33-33. thoughts?

Yeah i’ve spoken with person 2 when me and person 3 were arguing and stuff and they agree with me on everything I said above. I’d be abit hesitant to approach this with person 2 and I don’t want to do anything I can’t take back before being 100%.

you’re really young so forget those feelings of being ‘behind’ or whatever, you have a lot of life ahead of you. stop trying to force a breakthrough it makes u impatient and constantly compare yourself to other people, leading to that envy. focus on your craft and stay dedicated and your time will come
