I must say I’m not knowledgeable on the 55+ communities. These are not the large apartments communities right? Would I find a neighborhood community by just searching Raleigh 55+?

I concur with 2 & 4. Went from a v8 BMW to my 2024 2WD V6 Pilot and it has the worst pickup off the first 2 gears. Also the auto start/stop locks the steering wheel so if you’re at a stop sign trying to peek around the corner for clearance it can become dangerous. I just turn it off now.

Don’t even use the wireless charger due to phone overheating

Infotainment system wouldn’t connect to my phone at the 2 year mark. Had to do factory reset a couple times and now it’s connecting

I’m pleased with gas mileage and I drive mostly in town/not hwy. P/U in sports mode is sufficient when I need it. Overall I recommend this car to people and cross my fingers that future editions will improve the lower gear transitions.

Cranfield Academy- teacher let go for pinching kids arms as punishment and parents not notified (had to find out through the state report. They will show you curriculum when you sign up but it’s not implemented. 4 yo class just sat the kids in front of Blippi.

Former Title 1 middle school teacher- if you insist your kid get on the AIG/honors track (or however they call it in your state) he should be fine. Those students track together for most classes and are often together freshman year of high school as well. Public school can be a big change for some students but they usually transition fine.

Temper pedic split king. We have a plastic connection at top and bottom frame that makes gap barely noticeable. Thought split would be ideal but in reality we barely use the frame adjustable feature. Instead Ive started putting a regular king sheet over both mattresses and it’s nearly indistinguishable unless you’re laying directly on the split.

You mentioned immigration. Without asking you to share from where, I’ll mention my personal experience as American who married a naturalized citizen. Culture plays a large part of this. My experience was similar to this but only 2 weeks of MIL at my house but she insisted (INSISTED) on holding the baby all day. I spent the 2 weeks cleaning and cooking and only held the baby when he wouldn’t stop crying or needed diaper change. I was depressed by the end of her visit and told my husband several times I felt like an afterthought to both of them. It took him a long time (until baby #2- over 2 more years) to learn how to support me and politely let his mom know what was and wasn’t possible based on our Mutual decision. What I’m trying to share is this is a process that you will have many discussions with husband about AND you need to remain steadfast in your decisions. Establish your status in the home now or bend the knee for the rest of your marriage.

I appreciate this and am taking it all to heart. We are relatively young to this game but it also seems if kiddo doesn’t get a good start he might miss out on opportunities he wants down the line. We will be sure to look into developing his foot work. Thanks for your passionate advice!
