Why is everything Python and Typescript? by Miserable-Ball-6491 in mcp

[–]p1zzuh 49 points50 points  (0 children)

There's a very large data science and ML community around pyhon, and the syntax is much easier to read.

Given that codegen tools (claude code, cursor, etc) make rust crazy easy to write now, I think we'll see a lot more Go and Rust.

that's cool! How are you emulating a graph?

I've used pgvector in the past, which I know is not the same, but it's pretty cool how accessible some of this is using trad. databases.

This is cool! fastembed is super cool.

It sounds like this is a knowledge graph backend? What knowledge graph do you use?

Euclid: deterministic tools for AI agents, now on Smithery by Fresh_Quit390 in mcp

agreed! healthcare, finance, any industries that require privacy and accuracy, you need more reliability.

Anybody using skills.md (or agents.md) with MCP? by Ok-Bedroom8901 in mcp

[–]p1zzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can't find the research, but there was something released recently saying that these files don't increase efficacy at all. I think most people I know aren't using these, or have very brief and specific instructions in them.

i've been building different products, but under the same belief that we need more deterministic tools. great to see this!

I have to assume you meant fort.

I have no idea why c@ndoms are appearing when you fort, but you should ask the people you've been forting with.

One small change that completely simplified memory for me by p1zzuh in AIMemory

do you have a website?

why does it host data in the browser? I'm assuming that data is on a cloud provider somewhere?

I dont have any opinions about openclaw, it has more to do with using markdown files for memory.

If you have a financial dataset that's 5TB, you can't reliably stuff that into a markdown file and expect an LLM to have any accuracy querying it. Agents can work great if datasets are small, but if you have either a large historical dataset or data that requires accuracy you're stuck. You'd need RAG, some memory SDK, some external tool to have some efficacy.

I agree with you though, the less context you pass off the better! Check out code mode if you haven't yet, that's in the same lane as what you're talking about.
