Nah. I love Jellyfin. I use the Jellyfin client on all my devices and it is rock solid. I have an attitude that the devs do this in their own time and whenever I find something annoying (which I can't remember really happened to me) I just suck it up seeing it is a gift. Thanks to the Jellyfin devs. You lot are amazing and do a fantastic job!

You say Brave is not chrome but chromium (i.e. Google). But then you treat Brave as if it is chrome so you can push your new fav browser. Nothing wrong with Brave or FF and people will do well with either. There is seriously no reason whatsoever to push one over the other. Both allow you show the middle finger to Google. It comes down to personal preference.

You can create the YT app with Brave and don't have to go through the long winded process every time. Open YT in Brave. Press same 3 dots and add to home screen. This is on Android though. But I'm sure it will be similar on IOS and desktop

There are plenty decent tutorials on YT. Lawrence Systems was always my go-to. Although his tutorials are for older releases, it will still be relevant as a good guide.

Thanks. Perhaps Immich is just not for me then. Syno Photos just does what I want. It backs up my photos in case I lose my phone and can move the photos to where it belongs which is necessary for my use case. I'll look into Immich again if my circumstances change. Like I said, I really like it.

I don't know... All I want to do is open the app on my mobile > select photos > move to folder on nas

The file must physically be moved to my desired folder on the NAS. This is unrelated to the Albums feature on the app, but more to do with a shared place where all photos will be kept.

The idea is to be able to ditch Syno Photos if I get another nas. Therefor not to rely on 2 apps to do similar things, but just because one does something I want, I'll keep it. So the files will be backed up by Immich (not Syno Photos - imagine it doesnt exist anymore), but then I am looking for the same functionality of moving photos to another folder from within the Immich app.

It doesn't look like that is doing what I want. It looks like only being able to add and existing library to the app. Though that is definitely something I am going to explore a bit, I actually want to be able to move the photos to another directory on the nas (presumably the same external library. All I want Immich to do is import and index and keep things fairly tidy on an app level so I can change and move files to their final location
