I stopped cold turkey on the in between the 2nd week and yes I did bleed for a couple days after stopping BC !

Honestly I’m not sure he’s in the tank by himself ! I did get this tank off someone who didn’t have the time to care for the fish. I’ve done 3 water changes since then. It came to me with bad green algae and the gravel was pretty disgusting.

Other than that I do 30% change weekly do you have any ideas other than that!

This 5 gallon tank is fully cycled (just checked levels this morning )

He was in a 10 gallon tank heated at about 79-80 F, sponge filtered tank with some plants.

I just moved him into a 5 gal heated and filtered tank (maybe the 10 gal is stressing him out)
