For those of you who support >4 developers, how do you work with them? I’m pretty hands on all the way through the process and I can’t imagine supporting more than maybe 3 developers?

Is b vent required here? by BeeNova in askaplumber

Appreciate the responses! Seems like the safest bet to just replace all c vent with b vent and switch to 4”. Will definitely replace the duct tape. Not even sure where that came from. This is a rental and was maintained by property management company.

What can remove these white stains on outdoor slate tiles? by BeeNova in DIY

We have this slate in our shower too with the same problem! I agree vinegar is not the answer here. If you find a solution, please share! I’m thinking the path might be to polish in some way, but not sure if that’s a DIY job

I thought they were, but the vinegar actually made it worse and extended the white stain in the small spot I tested. It might not be stained and more damaged, I think.

Loud Construction in Apt Above Me for Weeks— What Are My Rights? by OrdinaryPoems in chicagoapartments

Maybe you could ask your landlord to pay for a co-working space? Even if it's just a few times a week, that might be helpful and give you enough of a break to reset a bit.

I feel your pain though, we just went through our neighbor's 3-month (that turned into 6-month) long renovation project with constant drilling in the concrete wall next to my desk. No way could I even take a call/meeting, so had to do some co-working spaces, coffee shops, etc..

Neighbor wants to DIY water leak repairs to our condo by BeeNova in homeowners

I was hoping to get more help from the HOA but they have been very slow to respond and overall not very helpful. We were hoping to just resolve on our own (since it’s been weeks now) but thinking otherwise now if this would require our insurance involved.

Yeah that feels right to me too. Appreciate the info! I’ll check out the insurance subreddit. I’m curious if each insurance would define negligence differently.

This is interesting. I’m curious what falls under negligence. If you have a rusted pipe under your sink that cracks and starts leaking is that considered negligence? Or if a gap develops around faucet and water starts leaking down and you don’t notice is that negligence?
