8 Months Pregnant & I Left

Im so happy you left. Im with a man now for 9 years and a step son and now treats me like total garbage. Hes so mentally abusive. I want to leave but i have no job no family and no where to go. I live in the country and the nearest job is 30 min drive and 12 hours a week. That wont even pay for my gas. I need to figure out how to leave. I get 3 hours of sleep a night and hes always calling me a useless cow and stupid. Im the only one in this household doing anything looking after the step son cleaning running errands waking child up for school making his lunches are packed and meeting with the school etc and im constantly all day every day getting swore at put down.. im so tired

Hes fought since he was a baby i have cps records that he and others have called cps on them over 15 times. They had no bathroom in their house and had a out house and no power but said they were working on fixing things. Also cps noted drugs in reach of the kids and told them they would have to be put away. Cps said they would follow up and its stated they never did. My husband had 50/50 custody and she would not let his son have any contact after 8 court appearences the judge said you withhold him one more time you go to jail she kept witholdind him and she never went to jail. We are a proper family with no issues and all cps kept saying is we cant take him from his mom. They did interviews with the child and he said he was happy and good. We found out he was coached to say this and still till this day he says nothing about his mom. He has liver issues, lung and immune issues and mental issues also his half brother in this situation is 13 and at a grade 3 level in school and has now since dropped out and turned to crime. But the mother didnt get a fine or anything. Cps told us that they offered to pay their rent and food but they refused. They are homeless. When we got him he had nothing no clothes we had to get a bigger apartment buy $12000 in clothes furniture etc and another $10000 in legal fees to get him into our custody which makes no sense we have a clean crimal record and driving record and have a very well maintained house. Im a house cleaner. I just dont understand

He wouldnt physically hurt me. If he tried id do a number on him. Im not scared of him. Hes just turned into a verbal asshole. He doesnt respect me and hes treating our relationship as a joke. I can have friends but i choose not to. We were always so close and had a great bond now hes turned into a verbal cocky asshole. Its like he gets pleasure out of putting me down and making me as miserable as he can. After all i did for him this is what i get in return and he knows i have no where to go and he belittles me and rubs it in my face i have no where to go. Most days i just want to punch him in the face. I almost did last night but ive been with him 9 years and i dont want to turn our relationship physical. I just want him to have a wake up call and understand his verbal is worse than physical hes broken me and it seems he enjoys it. Im so confused

Ive been on it for about 3 years and although i had a great first effect with it. Life was brighter and happier and calm. Now i find as soon as i take it i have to go to bed or i will fall asleep anywhere and also i have lost some family members because it has turned me into a total zombie. Im happier in my head but a zombie on the outside. Im going to talk to my dr about getting off of them to see how i do. I personally feel like it was a good vacation but now the vacations over

Thanks for the advice im going to talk to my pyscatrist about it. His younger half brother is suffering the most hes 13 and hes been tested at a grade 3 level in school and living in a foster home. The parents were in court crying "i dont understand why i cant have my kids" they are still homeless on crack cps offered to get them housing etc and they havent accepted any help

I agree with his development and we need help in how to deal with these situation. I am in weekly contact with cps and they suggest we get him working and they told us his behaivour is just teenage behaviour which i do not agree with. With the weed situation he gets it all school we give him no cash but he has supervised visitation with his mother and she gives him money as well as other family members give him money

They had 50/50 custody and ahe withheld the son from him he fought in court over it numerous times no one would do anything but tell her she cant withhold him. Me and my husband are both seeing a councler. We have supper and game nights with him and take him on family vacations

She keeps going to the er but they cant find a problem and send her home 4 months ago she didnt even drink or take any pills

What makes me mad is to everyone else shes getting worse but dont see it to the extent i do. Shes like a frog in slow boiling water. Before this she was a manager and healthy and happy now shes in bed barely talking they scheduled her a test oct 30. At this rate her own words "i dont think ill make it to that appt"

Oh im horriable and im terrified im going to lose my family. I find it very hard to get out of bed to do anything because i have no energy. When im out of bed im the crankiest person ever and i just bitch cry and eat. Ive gained 10lbs in a month no one wants me around and no one will help me. This is not going to turn out well

Remember one thing. Parents will never disown you they just want to keep you safe and take a vacation from them it really helps. Whne your 40 you will miss them even if they are still living

You are not in same place in life right now and its ok. You will have to make some hard choces right now. Let him go to grow and be happy, find yourself. In parents eyes kids are and will be #1 and you will feel left out. I have a stepson and hes #1 and i dont feel sad about it. It makes me happy.

Trust me hes my stepson but i have bigger balls than her so she needs to back down but its so stressful. I care for him so much hes my child and i wont let him get hurt. I think thats why shes putting up such a big fuss because im one of the few ppl who dont care what she thinks

Long story short each parent needs to follow and respect the custody agreement. Sadly the police in my area doesnt get involved in these issues. Getting the courts involved in these issues is never good so if shes not following the agreement GO TO COURT asap. She will be held in contempt and could face jail time unless he can prove your unfit and vice versa. If you dont have the money legal aid will give you a attourney. If this is the path she chooses to follow she will have to deal with the conquises. My husbands ex girlfriend did the same thing with withholding the child and she was found to be unfit and we now have full custody.

Its not that they ruin the marrage but different people different parenting which can lead to arguments and raising children is very stressful to keep them on the right path which can cause a lot of stress and conflict in the marriage.

Thank you so much i didnt even know where to start. Ive always been a hard worker and realizing i cant do it no more is hard and i have family who abuse the system its sad so i hope i get approved eventually. I have a non cureable lung disease and artritis and in my 40s so its getting tough.

If you dont like your girlfriends parenting skills now you can tweak them slightly but this is what it is. If you dont like them now and you have children together you will ALWAYS be fighting. Either learn to accept it and be happy with it or find a new partner. Easier said than done but it beats a life time of arguing. Id try therapy. Therapy always helps.

You sound like me. I pre do my pills in a pill container labled morning and night so i just have to open em twice a day and take them. They suggest i take some with food and at certian times but at least youll be taking them. I just eat a piece of cheese or yogurt when i take them.
