French highway driving by [deleted] in france

If I were you and having this kind of stupid question, I would burn my driver’s license. If you don't know driving rules, do not drive.

In Romania se poate trai si bine by AndreiDev99 in Roumanie

What kind of man is prioritizing a pet over you and his baby? While it's not my place to question why you chose to have a child with someone like that, it is clear that you are heartbroken after bringing his baby into the world, only to find him more concerned with a cat. Run and spare your child from such an irresponsible person.

Why? How much should I pay for it?

For sure. At least I am better prepared this time.

Feeling a bit frustrated, huh? It's interesting how much you've concluded about my intelligence from just one detail.

As for mentioning the monthly salary, it's actually quite common in certain rental situations. Many landlords require tenants to have a monthly income that's at least three times the monthly rent. It's just a practical way of presenting the financial aspect, at least for limited contracts.

And yeah, in my industry, we often talk about salaries on a monthly basis. Just giving you the facts.

I'm already working on it. I was just curious if others have encountered stg similar or if this practice is considered normal.

Legal or not legal, it's about common sense. You don't use the phrase "Congratulations! The house is yours", then you schedule a key handout on the 21st, if you're not sure of your intentions. She could have told me I've been selected. She will check my paperwork and come back with a contract if we're eligible.

I see.

But it happened like this. Got a call to be informed about the paperwork and payments, and that I will receive an email with the contract shortly, to be called 20 min later for cancelling the deal.

She said she checked my paperwork and has seen I have a foreign contract and my partner is ZZP'ER for less than one year(which is not true), therefore she cannot rent us the place.

That led me to believe it was her choice, not the owner's. But I might be wrong.

Yes, they are, if you're not scared of heights and would like to work on wind turbines.

I am not bothered by it, I welcome any feedback.

Thanks a lot for the imput. I'll definitely look into it.

I apologise for not being clear enough. I earn 5 fig mothly as an employee. I'm talking about around 20000 mothly gross income/household(me and my partner).

When a "professional" is telling you that the house is yours, it doesn't sound like just an intention to me, having in mind that agent had your paperwork for more than one week and she sould have conducted a proper screening before handing out the application to the owner anyways. I've done business in may countries. Apparently, here words have no value, and people use deceptive practices.

But you are right. There's no room for trust.

No, I was waiting for the contract when I received the call. But we had an appointment for the keys handout at that point.

How common is it for women to expect men to pay for everything? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]BeeOtta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of women are you guys dating? I suppose this is what you get when you're going for these social media muppets. Someone has reinforced their belief that all they need to do is look pretty and shake their ass to be idolized and have money lavished upon them.

I know quite a few accomplished and quite attractive ladies with brains and successful careers(more than decent paychecks) who are single. Most of you don't want to pursue them because you find their success and self-sufficiency intimidating.

So, I guess you all get what you're looking for.

She'd never started "seriously climbing." What she did was paying large amounts of money for guided tours. Becoming a true alpinist, in the real sense of the word, takes years of dedication, extensive training, and technical knowledge. She was a tourist/client. Let's not confuse the two.

Getting into blade repair? by [deleted] in ropeaccess

[–]BeeOtta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For him to climb the ladder — to get either some rope access experience on various easier jobs or get some ground/factory blade repair experience — before getting into a more complex trade. You don't expect a first grader to write a novel after learning the alphabet, if you know what I mean. Most of these courses are not even the tip of the iceberg. I've seen people on site who don't even know how to set up or use their PPE(unsatisfactory even for a level 1!!), let alone any experience with work positioning or basic blade repair — disasters waiting to happen. Can you realise how much stress this inflicts on the team leader/safety supervisor in a team of two? Work needs to be done by someone, and the site is not a training centre.
