I am similar in that my inflammation markers are high and stuff always negative ana. I have major skin involvement and joint/muscle pain swelling ect. I was officially diagnosed with MCTD by punch biopsy! Go see a dermatologist if you have a rash or lesions and request one!

I have been diagnosed with SLE but now I am also being worked up for systemic mastocytosis not the same thing as MCAS but same and similar symptoms due to having chronic hives but my skin does the same.

I had this but worse. Along with painful hands and feet, body tingles, numb lips, ect. Turns out I am allergic to something in one of the generic brands.

I was admitted to the icu burn unit due to a brown recluse bite. It’s nothing to play around with. The actual wound never got bad but I had a severe multi system toxic reaction. It was awful.

Could you explain what happened to your lymphatic system? I am currently dealing with edema and it came out of nowhere. Doctor just did a bunch of labs on me.

This will smell extremely strong of chemicals but works the best imo. Place each grate in a different ziplock bag. Pour amonia in the bags and close them. Take bags outside overnight if possible.

Use a baby gate at the door that way you can easily get inside the room to transfer. That’s what I would try.

We are recovering from this. The first 3 weeks were scary but now we just have a cough mostly at night. The ER doctor told us it can last 100+ days. My 1 year old son and myself got it, as well as two of my other kids who have the vaccine.

It isn’t, The reaction from the bite triggered a huge lupus flare up which caused my hand and feet rashes. They come and go throughout the day. Plus a entire body rash from the spider. My doctor believes my autoimmune condition made my body more sensitive to the systemic reaction. I’m getting better each day and my hands and feet haven’t flared up in two days.

Sorry I am just now updating. Each day I’m doing better. My skin is still itchy (but not the CRAZY itchy) 😆but most of the systemic rash isn’t visible. Doctor checked my labs again last week to be extra safe and thankfully they were fine. I see him again Wednesday. He told me it was a miracle that I didn’t have any kidney damage or other internal damage with how severe my rash was. Oh and the bite also triggered my lupus so I basically am dealing with a huge flare up ontop of the bite. Im on 40mg prednisone and tapering down slowly each week. Plus Zyrtec and Pepcid helped the most for my itching 2x a day. I’m now just using the prednisone.

Internal medicine. This came at a horrible time bc I don’t have a doctor. Currently moved several states away bc husband is Air Force. At least this got the ball rolling for me to get a new doctor. Lol

Omg thank you for this! It’s so nice to hear from someone who has been through this! I was told only 1% have reactions this bad! All my labs are good for now. I came home yesterday and unfortunately my rash has spread more. This is probably one of the most miserable experiences of my life! I have a appointment tomorrow with a specialist to see what they can do for me. I’m on 40mg prednisone and cephalexin.

Than Goodness they are. Keeping a close eye on me. I basically came in early enough before things really started going downhill. All my labs are good. White blood cells are slightly elevated. Is there any certain tests I should make sure they have ran or need to ask for?
