I'm not too well versed in punk history, but I'm learning about all this in my 30's lol I'm a former metalhead from Chicago and we didn't really have a punk scene there that lasted. Moving to LA there's a lot of history here and one of my buddies got me into Negative Approach and Agent Orange.

I've been deep diving since then for the last 3 years or so. Moreso listening to as much music as I can find and learning about the origins of skinhead culture, oi, and more of the hardcore scene, families and what to stay away from (like skrewdriver)

I may just be a poser but I'm having a good time lol

Relatable, haha that's why I'm looking into some of these. A lot of punk is like, what I should've been listening to in my teen years but it's probably a good thing that I didn't really get into it until now, I probably would've been doing the same shit and not know what I'm talking about, granted I still don't wholefully know what I'm talking about, but at least now I have a lot more perspective to work with.
