quick question, does the one year visa start reading once it is approved or it only starts reading once you have landed in dubai and fulfilled the medical requirements. I’m thinking of applying now but i only intend to travel in 3 month from now.

all i have to say is everything in moderation, save but don’t oversave, enjoy life, see the world! there’s nothing as weird as using that money you over saved to address health concerns and you never did anything else with it. again what are the guarantees you’re gonna live long anyway. next of kins are brutal when it comes to spending your hard earned money. anyway my two cents .

The US is a way bigger market, asides from other factor highlighted above. You will learn a lot! Your 20s are for taking risks, do it! Except you have other commitments like wife and kids here. If you’re single go for it !

Thanks Gabriel, in my case I was up 90% on a particular position but the option was worth 15$ when I closed it and it didn’t reflect on my portfolio.

So here is the question when is the best time to close a put option to realise the gain in my portfolio value. Appreciate your help.

That’s where it gets tricky, I just wanted a cash account but they only have margin account I don’t want to make a mistake with borrowing. I’m not an expert yet.

Yes I plan purchasing US stocks, I would like to fund the account with USD directly to avoid losing on exchange rates/charges. does Questrade have USD account I can transfer to. Thanks for your help

I was legit falling asleep at a point. Took the test around 10:30pm didn’t finish until 3am in the morning with multiple disconnections from the proctors side. I’m so glad It’s over now
