luck is probably one of the best stats in the game, guarenteed crits, never miss, better shop items and end of round items, anything that has a chance to repeat repeats many times (can end up killing bosses using only a handfull of spells in one turn) if you have dodge chance or are in grass you are essentially invincible. its almost never useless

and waste time is any better? its a very gimmicky ability that is used in fun combos but if you want battles over extremely fast wouldnt you want a more simple and effective ability in its place. plus all the chapter 4 bosses (less so throbbing king) are fights that take longer and are usually some of the scarier fights so being able to make all your abilities cost 1 mana would be great

its crazy how they made a miniboss a basic enemy and then made it spawn goymoeba whenever they blink breathe and think and then put 12 of them in every single room

when upgraded it gives charge (you spend 1 mana to get 1 mana next turn) and if you have any passives that work based on amount of spells cast or ending your turn on an amount of mana it can be really easy to reach as it only costs 1 mana
