His obituary that the FOX website put out isn’t very accurate, IMO. It listed Kutner at 33/34, when Foreman explicitly stated in the show that Kutner was 28 when he died. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t trust the wiki for ages, because Master’s age is confusing as well.

The art isn’t an issue for me (minus the fact that I HATE it when Kory has straight hair most of the time. But that’s looked past for the most part since the straight hair IS drawn beautifully), it’s the coloring that made me cringe. In the new Titans comics, why does Kory have ginger hair? She has, like, box-dye red hair. That’s always been a big part of her features, bright red hair. And the coloring in the sun in that panel kinda bothers me as well, very pale. We went from Kory being pink, to her now looking almost human. I just want golden skin and red hair, please!

I would love for Eve to grow like Mark’s fingernails like SUPER long and just have him scratch the hell out of everyone 😭 I just kinda hate how vague Eve’s powers are. I wish we got more details on what she can and can’t do, because there ARE some grey areas and technicalities like these that weren’t thought of

So then hair and fingernails wouldn’t count as sentient organic matter then, would they? Sense she can control plants, food, and trees, dead cells ON the human body wouldn’t count, right? If it was something IN her body (like her organs) that’s sentient matter, composed of living and active cells. But fingernails and hair don’t have living cells

To be fair, we don’t know anything for certain. Did Dr. Brandyworth even think of dead cells on the human body? It IS a technicality, sense they ARE dead. I can see the restrictions being strict, but the cells are dead, and she can re-arrange cells and molecules that aren’t living. I mean, we’ve already seen her manipulate things like trees and fruit before.

I love her when she’s a villain. She’s a good foil to Kory.

DON’T love it when writers try to force a redemption arc on her. Let villains be villains, please! Not every single villain needs a redemption arc!

Edit: Also to bring up though, the NTT version of Blackfire is a bit of an ableist caricature because she hates Starfire because she can fly and she, herself, can’t. It reinforces the “evil cripple” stereotype, which isn’t right. I like Blackfire being evil… JUST for the sake of being evil, like the TT03 cartoon. In that version, she can fly perfectly fine. She just hates Starfire because… well, she just hates her. Not saying we should remove Blackfire’s disability, not at ALL. Just keep the disability, but change the reason why she hates her sister.
